[PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

Just a quick few from my most recent trip to Iceland :D 1 Phone pic (the one with the seal) and 2 of them drone pics from my Mavic Pro, came out really well I thought to be fair!

Went down to Durdle Door today and also Duncliffe, attempting some autumn style landscape for the first time as well.

3. is my absolute favourite. It was my "Thomas Heaton" moment :D

Really liking this one. The clouds are so moody, I love it. However, my ONE critique, and it really is 1 because I think it works regardless, is the I would have maybe tried to stand a little further back and to the left with the camera tilted to the right. So the waterfall was more facing the camera and you could see more of the lake. However that tree might have been too distracting doing that.

I love it either way :)

Glad you like it and I really appreciate the feedback. I wanted the viewer to be stood with the water rushing over their toes, then follow the line of the stream down to Llyn Ogwen and up to Tryfan, following the ridge to the light over Cwm Idwal which takes you back to the waterfall, almost circular. The tree was just there and I kind of wish it wasn't and the image is probably a little busy. There are a couple of other shots on my flickr stream from that day with different (tree-less) comps. This one was two exposures, a polariser and ACR/PS.

Funnily enough I was up there again today trying some different comps in the snow. I try and get to Snowdonia once a week (often a Thursday) whatever the weather, enjoy a good walk, explore and try a few shots. Some things work (in my mind at least!) and some don't.
