[PIC_THREAD] Landscapes, Architecture, Seascapes

I think the main interest in this photo is the wave crashing into the air, a tighter crop if anything. Lead in lines only need to be so long imo :)

Been trying to get back into Photography.

Took at St. Davids' on Saturday using an old Finepix S2 Pro.

There needs to be no light pollution at all really^

Nice plane.

20 second exposure, no pulsing lights on the exposure, no planes flew around this part of the sky anyway and we've been seeing shooting stars most nights with the naked eye but never at the same time as when a camera was in that area of sky exposing a frame.

I can't remember, I think I did but still going through 1200+ shots! I didn't fancy changing lenses in -27 conditions so chose a lens and went out each night :p I did use the 35 for almost everything else though. Oh and the 85.

They went quicker than usual but the official canon BP511s still held up well. I got a full day of use of of one even with the camera around my neck while snowmobile racing for 2 hours. Normally I can get days of use out of one charge (over 1000 shots).

One from last week in France snowboarding, took some of my kit, bought a Samyang 14mm lens last month so decided to try it out.

And some old ones, thought I'd posted them before but doesn't seem so.

Cheers mrk, I'm a sucker for wideangle lenses I guess :P

I'm planning a trip to Norway this Autumn, would love to get some aurora shots like that.

Origin, did you stick around a few minutes longer? The colours really open up as the minutes roll on :D

Unfortunately not, I was running late for work so literally just grabbed a couple of shots. Will try again one morning when I am not in a rush though.

Absolutely fantastic shot of yours by the way.:)

Sunrises and Sunsets, two things that will always look amazing if you just stand there and watch it, calming as well :)

I posted this timelapse in the gifs thread in GD:

Hopefully you can see some of the lights! Just have camera and tripod set and ready the moment it happens because it can be over within moments!
