Black and White is where I feel most at home these days and mostly use it where the mood and atmosphere comes through at a level I'm satisfied with. I have a few variations, some in the images below and not strictly part of a set hence the difference.

Anyway, a few more from yesterday's recoding session with some friends.

I like this a lot, missed it before and only just recalled it as I'm watching BBC1 currently (watch it for all street/portraiture fans!).

There's something odd going on with those. Is it the sharpening or the scaling? I can't quite tell but there's a strange effect on the skin and in the detail. It seems over sharpened but may well be something else.

It's showing up on her shoulders and back of her legs in the second shot for me. Is it just a lower quality image upload that's causing this? I'm trying to figure out what I'm seeing and it's driving me nuts :D

Yeah, I'd already decided it wasn't that :D

The image looks the same quality. I'm just wondering if the forum software is up to something. They just look odd somehow and definitely different to your previous images.

Hmm. I shall poke about my system incase it's faffing around. I've just installed a new system so it's possible the gfx set up is doing something naughty. That being said, the final image seems okay. The 1st two have what you could almost call scan lines that you'd see in an image grab from a TV.
