Couple of lions. I'd been sitting by the water hole for a good 4-5 hours before these guys showed up

Cheers footman, I took all these shots in natural light with the sun behind me and the background in shade. It was bright enough for a reasonable shutter speed although I think I may invest in a 300mm in the future .

Here's a few of mine, taken all over the place. They're a mixture taken on my 600D or my friends borrowed 400D but some were a trusty Sony DSC-N2 point and shoot I had (the camera which got me into photography).

I was thinking Kestrel too but that was just a guess because I couldn't think of anything else lol

Shame he didn't get any closer

Saw him dive down and was hoping he would come back up with something if it was small enough but he came back up empty handed. By then it was time to get back to work since lunch was over
