It took one look at my dog and took to it's heels. The dog is terrified of deer and wouldn't go within a mile!
Trouble is, I was set up for perching birds so the shutter speed was really too low for a moving object.

Had a trip back to my local fieldfare site on the bank holiday. They'll probably move on soon as the berry supply is being exhausted.
