But, no one cares what you think because you were caught in a lie. Give it a rest.

Sure, you owned "A" nova, just not the one you linked to the specs of

Unfortunately no-one will take you seriously after that, plus you were a n00b member at the time, Wonder_Lander isn't.

I'd like to think that at 32 years of age and having been through 2 big nukes people wouldn't doubt my integrity. I know I've never met any of you in real life but the car is 100% mine and I paid £5000 for it.

warning flying toys...... go on chap rain on his parade and post a pic, then he can shove it

If people are really doubting me then I will post the pictures but it proves nothing if I just have access to the car. If anyone searches for my car selling thread where I was looking for advice on selling my passat you'll notice from the pictures that the car is in the same position as the alfa!

about 3 months so no, not long. Its just very thirsty for the amount of miles I do (fuel card yes but being in the petrol station every 250 miles when you do 25k+ p/a is tiring) plus its a tad pricey.. I could be making money out of my car allowance!

Ease up on the right foot and you will get another 50 miles to the tank dude.I know how you feel tho, but just think of the club card points :D

Dont do it, you will end with some mundane diesel which bores the nuts off ya.

Very nice looking motor, though I'm not a fan of it in red but for £5k?!

Jesus you could run that for a couple of years and lose nothing on it. Fantastic, enjoy every minute of it mate :)

I know this probably isn't the thread but what sort of mpg do you get from yours? I'm stuck at 23.9 and thats quite a lot of cruising in 6th?

I wasn't a huge fan before the offer of the car came up but having lived with it for nearly two weeks I'm liking it more and more each day!!

It's not an every day run of the mill car, I've seen 1 other since I got this car!

Get your cam/drive belt changed sooner rather than later (you should be ok for another 20k miles or so) 2 close relatives have left it till it "should" be done according to the manual and it snapped a good few thousand miles short of that.

23

My friends ST2 did 32mpg at 80-90 on the motorway according to the dash when I was driving it. Are your tyres inflated? :p ;)

With the mileage I do it'll be serviced every 3-4 months so will get the dealer to keep an eye on it!

So how come you got it for 5k? Does he owe you some cash or something?

Great car btw... you can get that engine tuned to the max.. get loads more bhp out of it! Some even claim a better mpg but im not sure about that.

Blimey, mines pretty good compared to that, 80-90mph on the mway gives me 28mpg, and sitting at 60-70mph can get me anything from 32-36mpg.

Ragging it round the back rouds gets me 21mpg :D

Nah, iirc he just bought a new car and offered it to him, for a great price.
Fantastic buy btw :)

Spot on the money, he picked up a new car and as I was looking for a new diesel car between 5 - 7k he offered me the GT at the bottom end of my budget.
