The car drives very well thanks although it's quite hard on the 18's

The 100 mile commute that I do each day is far comfier than my previous Passat! The seats are something else, really hold you well and give the right kind of support.
 
but did you actually need another car at the time? if not, are you going to sell your previous car? another lot of insurance, tax etc to pay out

Hmm.. if you used all the cash to buy another car, it probably wouldn't be as bad.

Was looking to replace, I drive 100miles each day and my previous 1.8T Passat was costing £250 a month in fuel alone!

My policy is up for renewal in May so it works out an extra 10 per month on insurance but fuel costs, car tax and servicing costs should be reduced!

Probably not as bad but I would still feel guilty. For now I think the car is great so unless it becomes unreliable I'll keep if for now!

I agree you would look like a royal **** if you sold it anytime soon. He's lost £10,000 so you can drive around in a £15/16k car, rather than a £5,000 car. VERY generous indeed. :)


Lovely car by the way. Italians sure now how to get their styling spot on.
