Go to page 6 to see rage guy ;)
its these kind of deals which has helped put the economy into the state its in now, seriously, "dealing with money" should be on the curriculum, sod media studies etc...
I'm sure many people in school will think finance/economics can be pretty boring, but it's an important skill and I'm also surprised it's not even an optional subject in schools (it wasn't when I was at achool at least...)

This is probably worse than the guy at work who owes about 15k on finance becasue he swapped from an astra to a vectra,to another vectra and then back to an astra. He now wants to sell the astra and purchase an old shaped vectra elite for 2.5k!

Some people don't grasp the concept.

Yur an arse, seriously.. Stop picking up on little things and get a life, yur always on the forum..

Life much?

you paid over £7000 for a 3year old clio when a bran new one costs that much yet you call fox an arse?

Seriously look in the mirror

TBH i was thinking about buying a 98 Vauxhall Vectra for £15k...

But the engine sounds really good so i think it's an awesome deal....

To all the haters ---- It's only money!!

I thought that the Carcraft Clio quote that somebody posted the pictures of in GD were a wind-up! So I spent a good hour reading through this entire thread, quite frankly I'm shocked that the OP thinks it's perfectly fine to pay that over-inflated price for that car and that he doesn't realise Carcraft have completely ripped him off. Hell, he could have saved a few months payments into the bank and got a half decent run-around that'd last him a year or two.

Did you really want a 15 page thread on how good your 1.2 Clio is? Seriously? Just what were you expecting everyone to say?

'Whoa, I love the.... pop-out rear window'

Although I agree with your comments that he has been ripped off, I'm not sure it was necessary for you to be quite so gleeful in pointing that out, and taking such satisfaction in rubbishing his car.

OP, could you not have got something in the fiat range and used the 2-3k goverment scrappage incentive? dumbest decision ive ever seen but up to you.

By most standards in here - nevermind Fox's - that was pretty mild given the OP's lack of understanding of a Motors Forum.

What was he expecting? expecially given some of his later posts!

The OP is 19, a kid, naive about the world and about money. He has made a big mistake, he will come to regret it if he doesn't already, and he will learn from it. Most of us here are a bit older or wiser but none of us should take any pleasure in seeing the expensive mistake he has made, or any satisfaction in pointing that out to him :)
