*** Pictures of things we bought in February ***

I know you guys have quite a bit of unused land down there but jesus that's a lot.

Hardly excessive. Land and space are a good thing to most people, even if it's just two people. More room for entertaining and hosting, more bedrooms to have people over, more room for any potential family, and just general 'lebensraum' :p.

Oh and that iPhone case is hideous :D. So tacky.

How many people are planning on living there? I know you guys have quite a bit of unused land down there but jesus that's a lot.

Just the two of us :) We want a house that will meet our needs, especially for a time when our small family may get a bit bigger. We put in three bathrooms to give somewhere for the rellies to stay and not get under our feet the whole time ;)

That looks fantastic.

This lot is costing us $180k for the land, and $240k for the house (very upsecced). Add in $30-$40k for the pool. Not that hot on what that gets you in the UK at the moment. That works out to around 305k ukp at current exchange rates.

Nope.. it was what was left from the Cash Back given to me by Sony for buying a 32" Bravia in October.. which I also got a nice £250 off the price too!! :D

I'd bought Lord of the Rings Extended blu-Ray with the other £40squid!! :D

Getting something thrown in when you buy something doesn't mean it's free. You have to pay in order to get it.
