That portal gun is epic!

I saw it on Play and almost caved and pre-ordered back in March.

Kind of gutted I did, but I would have nowhere to display it.

I don't know if it's just because I'm male and thus boob obsessed but when that pic came on screen for a split second I thought the blue pillow was a woman with her breasts jutting out. Imagine my disappointment when I realised it was a pillow.

lol :D

Though it's not really a pillow, just a bag to contain the down for shipping :)

This little beaut arrived this afternoon. Cost £355 all in from Dell Outlet

Inspiron 14z
Core i5-2540m (2.5GHz, Turbo up to 3.1GHz)
8GB DDR3 1333mhz
500GB HDD (Will soon have my 128GB M4)
14" WLED screen
HD3000 GPU
2xUSB3.0 (One of the main things I was after)
Displayport+HDMI

Should be a nice upgrade from my Asus UL30a. Think I did pretty well on the price. Been keeping an eye on the Outlet for about a week. Almost went for a Vostro of similar specs, but would have been £430. Good thing I waited a bit longer!

I think pretty well is an understatement, you seem to have got a very competent laptop for a small price. With the SSD in there it'll be significantly faster than most desktop PCs, and I don't think you could improve the speed further realistically.

Agreed, real bargain. Well done!

I need a laptop, though I know nothing about them. Will only need something for internet usage/word processing and with the odd game (FIFA, rather than Crysis!) Dell Outlet a good place to get them from?

I don't think I'd even bother looking anywhere else. Absolute bargains on there. You have to be quick though as they sell in minutes.

Yes, most have been in the hands of other people (probably bought and changed their mind) but I couldn't care less with the massive savings to be had. As long as you avoid the 'scratch and dent' options, they'll turn up looking nothing other than brand new. Although if you're not bothered about a few light scratches then you can save yourself another £50 or more.
