Piers Morgan with a brilliant quote on the rise and fall of equality

Because of his genes swimmer Michael Phelps has an abnormally long thin torso, a huge arm span and size 14 feet.
This obviously gives him an unfair advantage over swimmers with a more normal male physique.

Should he be banned, or hand his medals back ?
Where his arms surgically or chemically altered in any way??

I will give you a clue... He was born born that way.

Can you spot the difference yet?

I'm struggling to find any example of a women who became a man and competes in men's sport at a professional level.

Is it possibly because they don't exist?

And

The only reason why the men who become women and compete in professional sport is because they have a clear advantage.

They are sore losers and just want to win no matter the cost.

lol. You talk so much pants, mine has fallen off and i'm thinking of getting legless. Grow up, you are a clown in the very right manner.

I need to grow up?

You called me out in La Cuisine. I then provided pictures as you requested and then went all quiet and now this?

Look in the mirror.

Oh and i'm still awaiting feedback on the stuff you specifically asked me to provide and when i did ran away never to be seen again.

Grow up

Potentially, yeah, it could be easier to make a third category for say trans women and indeed intersex people who have the physical advantages of a man but identify as female.

Way things are going these days you will probably need around a dozen additional categories to avoid offending someone.

What on earth did Psycho Sonny say wrong here?? I know it's a little irrelevant to the discussion, but I am missing what he said wrong to warrant that reply lol?

:confused::confused::confused:

it's because I showed him up in a la cuisine thread.

He said I didn't know what I was talking about. Later on pictures and evidence to another thread were provided and then he went missing even though I specifically sign posted two replies straight to him.

so now his toys have went out the pram it seems

It's a bit of an odd one,

Female to male trans who compete against men are at a distinct disadvantage.
Male to female trans who compete against women have a distinct advantage.

I mean, the logical solution would be to have four categories at the Olympics are you can't just lumber all trans together either as they are not going to have the same base strength either. The issue is I doubt there are enough of each combination to justify large sporting events.

I do have sympathies with all groups involved tbh, the women who are being pushed out of sport & trans athletes not having a logical home to compete.

I would say that male to female trans isn't fair on the women they compete against, female to male I feel will struggle the most - which is a similar position as women are in fighting trans-women.

Maybe we should just accept with the amount of technology etc we have now sport cant be 'fair' anymore.

There is no win in this situation .
You can't create endless tiers of sport where there is a tiny minority.
You also can't bundle male to female in with female.

Really, there is no solution. Sometimes you just have to deal with life isn't fair. This feels like one of those.

People (myself Included) can't do some sports because of injury. The paralympics is hardly 'fair' if you look it it from that perspective.

What about when he doesn't? 'Often' isn't really a benchmark of quality.

What about it?

He didn't make any claims regarding "quality" whatever that means in this context but rather is responding to someone who has taken a position of never listening to anything Piers says - do you agree with that position?

A user said that he was a liar.

Another user said that you may not like him, as he often speaks a lot of truth.

I questioned what he was saying when he wasn't speaking the truth, i.e. is he telling lies on those occasions? I then suggested that only often telling the truth i.e. sometimes telling lies isn't a benchmark of quality i.e. there is now some uncertainty between when he's being truthful and not, and how does someone know when that's the case.

Is he always telling lies? Or does he say thing certain people on the left/liberals just dont like to hear? I never said anything about a benchmark of quality, just he often speaks the truth and he often speaks it plainly.

Well I think in this case, given he isnt exactly reporting a story but commenting on it, there isnt really any question of truth/lies. This is just commentary/analysis.

I didn't suggest he is always telling lies.

If he's only OFTEN telling the truth, what's he saying when he isn't telling the truth? And how do you know when he is or isn't telling the truth so, by your own standards, how can you trust him? Or do you know everything that's true?

Yep, and I don't disagree with that. I was responding to silly / careless language of others in a silly argument about why they think people should / shouldn't listen to Piers Morgan, and suggesting that him only often being truthful wasn't a good reason to put forward!

Oh please, Piers Morgan has wrecked peoples lives, all under the guise of news (read profit)... (allegedly) ... oh wait....

So you can argue my statement all you like, I do not like him, trust him or take anything he says due to him being a man a reprehensible moral character and having a few friends in high places to get him off the hook.
