70's? I was born in 1986 and distinctly remember cheese and pineapple on a cocktail stick! That being said I am in Guernsey, which could explain why it was around then

I used to work with a guy who loved a chicken tikka and banana chutney sandwich. I thought he was an animal. Then I tried it. It was confirmed.

Tuna and lime pickle is exquisite though.

Even having enjoyed said pizza, that sounds horrific.
