Planet Coaster

Cheers, but it still drops to desktop after the movie. First 3 Betas worked fine. Trying to upgrade my gfx drivers but it seems that Geforce experience now requires a login and a pile of personal info to even update my drivers.

I've tried to revert back to a previous version of Experience, but it appears to want to still update itself to the current crappy login-requiring one to let me do anything (y'know, stuff like update drivers). Very close to binning it completely and just going driver-only.

Ready to refund this now. I can't login to Geforce experience as it wont send a confirmation email (known issue on the forum) and I can't install a driver update manually because the installer tells me no GFX hardware found (980ti).
Every other game works fine and has done since Feb so I know the card is there and working just fine.
When did nvidia become so poor at drivers? I always thought that was AMDs job ;-)

loving this game so far, you can easily lose hours in it, last night i spent about 2 hours trying to fit a coaster station inside a building almost ending in rage but got there in the end.

Guys, love the idea that it is a total time sink. However how much 'survivabilty' is involed? I'm asking because I like to go off on wild tangents in these games and spend lots of time crafting the finer details.

Will the guests of the park just get angry and will that then limit income/spending on new rides with the game.

I guess i'm asking how much is it balanced towards all out full blown creativity as opposed to micro management theme park simulators like roller coaster tycoon?

I'm playing in sandbox mode but even so most of the staff have quit and probably 87% of the guests are dying of thirst while I'm busy placing rocks for hours on end. :p

I felt the log flume splash wasn't good enough...

Wow, great park Sunlitsix! Wish I had that imagination.

As for the 980.... I run a Asus Strix 980 (underwater) and it runs this game perfectly at 2560x1440. I'm not sure on frame rate, but it's butter smooth. I can't see it needing much more.

Graphics wise this game is right up there IMO, the lighting model is great, so are the particle effects, and the sheer detail is mind blowing.

Love it! Can't wait for the game to release tomorrow and get a few more scenarios.

I haven't really been following this, but just watched a few videos and think I'm gonna grab it.

Only problem is I'm not very creative, and I'm sure I'll be disappointed with whatever I can create after seeing some of the amazing things others have done! :)

So long you enjoy trying you'll love it :D

I have lost so much hours into this already and even I not very creative.

Am buying this sometime tomorrow, was going to grab it the other day but thought am busy so wont get much time to play.

Frontier did RCT3 and the add ons soaked and wild. Loved both of them and spent many hours on them.

If you like Theme park tycoon games this is the one. ;)

Best getting it before its official release to get the added bonus soundtrack etc extra stuff for park. List on steam page.

Thanks! It's just practice and real world reference really!

It's suddenly become the most popular ride in the park :D Triggers on rides is an excellent addition.
