lol had so much fun hunting enemy maxes but then they nurfed the hell out out it :(

at least they finally added a dumb fire mode

now i think about it maybe it wasn't that bad a game i did have some fun with it

only problem was the blasted hit detection took my superior fps skill out of the game completely

Back then it was... I must admit i marvelled at the troop transports and the way they managed the FPS but attacking the same base for the 40th time got very very thin. Since then there are teamplay games of all flavours whether multiplayer or mmo's and they cant rely on that anymore... as can be seen by the last standing server. The never ending war was always a turn off - spend hours capturing the town, log off, come back and its all the same as when you started. Ah well.
 
Seeing names I recognise in here makes me a bit fuzzy inside. Are they giving out some free game time at all? They should give a month or something, that would really get the servers packed.

What side was you on ? I have a crap memory but i tend to remember the more annoying TR people like Jeffbeefjaw, Someone182 lol forgot his name now, and Stellios. Probably all mozzie pilots that would kill me from clip range while i was "infantry'ing" about. That was in my day and a guy called AZK that spent a lot of time hot dropping on towers to get cheesey kills, mind you that seemed to be a tactic widely used... i never got into it personally.

Jeez it was so long ago Had a lot of respect for the players in that game especially the late night ones where it was a more balanced 30 vs 30 kinda game.

But god i loved a pop locked Solsar or Cyssor sniping was my love i might have to dload it and see if i have 45 days. I lost my old CR5 account as i sold it as part of a SWG jedi account (doh) but im sure i made a new one and got it to a decent fighting level.

lol I remember AZK and all the cheating accusations! ;) I played TR on Werner, great times fighting the Barneys and Smurfs before the game got silly with core combat/bfrs etc - still waiting for something similar to come along to replace it.
