Lack of 1st person is why I've held off buying this game. 3rd person in a game of this kind and with this premise is basically cheating.

VSS is a bit meh thankfully. Unless I'm missing the point of the gun, quiet and inbuilt 4X sadly packs less power than a pistol and quite large bullet drop.

just killed some guy and he started blabbering over mic - dude I got the new vss take it and have good luck, so sweet as he was so excited and being genuine. didn't have the heart to tell him **** off as it was ****!

Following my couple of quick runs on the test serves anyone else noticing vastly improved graphic performance? Previously it was causing my gpu (380x nitro) to heat up to the point I could hear the fans over my headphones even with a custom fan curve. Now it's quiet as a mouse and I've been able to bump some settings up and maintain a steady 50fps.

Unrelated note I'm not sure if it's placebo(What's a negative placebo?) but the test client seems to have worse textures. Generally I think the game looks worse

Cpu is much lower usage maybe I'll shunt some work back to that. Maybe it's just using the gpu properly now and it's showing how **** mine is.

To be fair we have been spoiled by battlefield graphics wise. This is the Unreal Engine so it's not as though they can't make it look nice. I have a lowly 7970 ghz. Until Vega makes an appearance I'm not upgrading.
Well the 7970 is slightly better card than the 380x as far as I know. If you don't get any joy playing with the settings I'll fire you over what I've mine set at tomorrow after work.
