Perhaps the issue is your end.

Played about 10 rounds of squads last night, all top 10 finishes with 1 win, only 1 game had some lag at the very beginning (10+ in one town) and that disappeared pretty fast.

Do you have a recording of the above?

It might be my end, just going to do a ping check now.

Nope not recorded that match, will check last nights to see if I can spot it there.
 
Just rewatched the vid, landed 5-6 shots on a guy up close then got insta killed, kwango's gun wouldnt reload at the last minute. Can't link it as its riddled with swearies especially in the 30 secs in question. Finished the game with 0 hit points
 
Just tried the NA servers for the first time, been playing on EU servers since before it went into official early access. Absolute world of difference on the NA servers, kept reading about it from people but I just dismissed it as a placebo effect, how wrong was I !

You should try the test servers - NA server with less players. Usually smooth as butter. Takes a bit longer to get into a game and can sometimes have as few as 38 players but makes for a much smoother game.
