Afaik all three have full face protection. Its just the design that indicates otherwise.
 
Yup That is stupid..... My first experience was too shoot a guy square in the face with an SKS... Only for him to get up and run off.... Felt really ridiculous and was just another massively disappointing experience, one of so many. It's a shame as the game really is exciting, but it has so so many flaws. Sometimes it just feels like wasting time, psi 20-30 minutes just to get screwed over by dumb mechanics and broken systems. Ergh!
 
Some serious lag issues.

I just played a game, 30 mins or so in.. Lvl 3 helmet, armor etc.. running along a road, hear a car behind me. turn to shoot. "NETWORK LAG DETECTED". Game freezes. 10 seconds later recovers and I've been run over.

Such a joke.

I know this has been mentioned before but I don't see the need myself. In fact I think it would actually detract from the game (and I was always a die hard hardcore cod/bf player when I played those) Just think it would force more people to camp and kill, with no desire to win. Plus it negates the need for meds/stims etc.

As the game stands it has forced me to improve my aim/shooting. If it went to 1 shot 1 kill the skill element goes out the window.

Yeh agree, but i dont mean the whole game to go that way, just a hardcore mode on some servers, and i would love the fact that you would have to camp and be sneaky, but you would be forced to move anyway, when circles close on you.

don't get me wrong, I understand folks wanting hardcore servers given I used to love them. just this sort of game doesn't feel, to me anyway, that it would benefit from them. but hey when custom servers appear fully each to their own, i'll probably pop on some of them tbh.
think my dislike for them in this game is the horrendous number of times I've been killed by some johnny no skill camping 5 miles back in the blue with his kar/awm and 8x scope making no effort to get to the safezone. I imagine 1 shot kill servers would only increase that - folk would be less interested in trying to win and simply getting those k/d's up

Last night I was in a squad of three playing in EU and in every match we all suffered from the "network lag" freezing pop-up several times a match, despite all being located in different places across the UK and on different ISPs

I felt the same as you, due to engagements being so sporadic it felt like I just died without ever improving. I found the best way is to jump into highly populated areas like the military base over and over again. Yeah you generally die a lot quicker but you get lot of practice shooting people.

It's happening to everyone and they've already fixed it. Will probably get hotfixed today.
 
Anyone up for some squad games tonight? I've been hovering around the discord channel a couple of evenings this week but no-one else seems to join. Add me on steam: adz160 :) I'll be on around 8:30/9pm. Almost had my first chicken dinner last night, had the guy in my sights but I only had a uzi and i was not close enough to kill him. Crawling closer to him and he turns around and kills me :(
