PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

nice finish indeed - huge risk to grab the Kar98 and cost yourself all your health packs in the blue but worked out in the end!

I knew that Venom had a Kar98 + suppressor, so it was worth the risk just to loot it as I wasn't planning on getting hit again :p You heal fairly quickly with stacked boosters anyway, so it paid off in the end haha.

I am getting annoyed with my PC seeing slow and janky with this game so I'm thinking of building a new PC. I was originally going to go for an intel chip but was recommended the Ryzen chip instead. Anyone got experience with this game and the Ryzen chip? How is the performance? Going to possibly get a 1080ti with it too.

The game is still poorly optimised so I wouldn't worry about it too much. With the spec in my signature I play 1920x1080 with everything on medium apart from AA on ultra and I get 140 fps in fields/small towns, but then it can drop as low as 30 in the same areas. I should easily be able to get constant 140 fps + on ultra with my PC.

Wow, first time grabbing the ghillie suit in a game last night. The crate also contained a VSS which resulted in some funny hidden kills with some very confused looking folks running around wondering where shots were coming from :p

Check out,,, PUBG Developer's stream - @smookie, They won first 3 games second in fourth game. Its like smurfing for him, lol. Lots of info on game given also. Beware its nsfw !

Smurfing?

I think in the context they mean playing poorly to end up being matchmade against poorer competing players? No idea if that's how PUBG matchmaking works though...

Edit: Assuming that's what you were asking rather than suggesting that was the case :D

Genuinely didn't know that's what it was...thanks for the explanation.

There is a degree of matchmaking in PUBG, multiple streamers have commented that once in top 200 rankings it can take 10/15 minutes for games to fill.

Sorry, Smurfing is a name for when high skill csgo players, use second low rank steam account to play lower skilled players.

I'm done.

Funny how the inaccurate nade trajectory helper is in the E3 highlights. See 1:12 in this clip.
I guess you are meant to take it as a guide and not foolproof.

Actually watching them again both in the E3 video and yours the arc disappears as you keep moving before throwing.

'We're really excited for this replay facility, which will allow you to watch back your match after the game'

'And thats great for content creators'

'Yeah but'

'Great for content creators'

Is E3 and this whole ****ing game about youtube now? Almost feel bad for playing and enjoying it, feel like I should be either screeching over twitch or uploading every in-joke to youtube.
