PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

One thing that I hope they do is make the foliage ever present for all. I was pretty surprised at how little grass there is if you put foliage on very low. Certainly explains why so often I have thought I am crawling unseen through thick strands of wheat only to have someone laserbeam shoot me. Turns out that on their screen I was simply crawling along in completely open grass less terrain lol.

Already confirmed in a podcast by the dev team, foliage will be locked once the get around optimisation.

This is something confirmed and the 2D was already tested in early alpha.

Thats very good news, thats how it should be. Nobody in any online shooter should be able to remove things on their "client" and then be able to see things that others cant. Either there is grass there or there isnt. Cant have it be there just for some people, I mean imagine if people could remove walls. Cover must be cover for all. So thats good news.
 
So this game does have a few annoying things, which is to be expected, but you know what the most annoying thing is about the game, the deep voiced retards that scream through my headphones while on the plane N**ger N**ger, Allahu akbar Allahu akbar, seriously they hurt my ears and how old are they?

You can just turn the team volume down and you won't hear them

Lol, I've noticed them (hard not to), it does seem to generally be the N word, the MF words or the allahu akbar that is just repeatedly yelled over and over. I commented to the missus just how weird it was and whether it was a statement on the psychology of people today that if you give them an anonymous microphone and say "go ahead..you can say absolutely anything you want, what would you like to say" ..thats what they come up with. :)
 
Just be glad that I am not in the EA to troll you all with my soundboard :D Although I will say that my sound clips are rather good and different to the above :D

Voice mute got enabled about 30 secs into my first game cos of this and its staying like that.

Also didnt realise you could be a ULQ warrior in this, glad they're getting that sorted.
