PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

basically its H1z1s audience.once hype dies down in next week will drop like a stone.

I'm not sure that will happen, I guess we will find out next week, but almost to a man every person that I've talked to about it has said that they feel that PBUG is better than H1Z1. If anything, based on that, I'd say that its H1Z1 that will suffer rather than Battlegrounds

I'm really not sure what you're agenda is here. Or your agenda in general to be honest. You won't remember me but I remember you from BF (something or other) spamming noob tubes on the metro map and claiming it to be the best thing ever. I, however, remember you're attitude to games - if you aren't good at them then they aren't good games.
DayZ SA, you 'promoted' it as the next best thing, backed with claims of knowing the devs. When it died a death you bailed and back tracked.
It seems if a game doesn't fit your agenda you poo poo it. If it does, you fawn all over it trying to get folk involved and that's cool, we're all entitled to opinions. But you clearly have an agenda, possibly trying to get views on your own streams and again that's understandable and fair enough.

You know what though, I'd suggest that you're opinion on games is worth about as much as a cup of snow is to an Eskimo. Perhaps if you focus less on a game only being good if you're good at it you would come off as less of a tool (you're YouTube channels might improve too!)
Any chance you'll do us a favour and leave those who want to try a game out and see if we enjoy it alone?

It's a bit expensive for what is basically H1Z1 with improved gunplay, but I'm enjoying it regardless.

My first kill in this game was a fun one, I took a fellow who was seriously tooled-up (L2 armor, L3 helm, sniper rifle, assault rifle) by surprise with a silenced Uzi. I had no armor, no helm, not even a backpack. After I took all his stuff I died 10 seconds later. :p

Playing with 3 other friends tonight, we were crossing the river from the military base in a boat, 30-something players left, hadn't seen anyone the entire time. We heard some guys shooting from a house above us on the cliff, so we left the boat and spent the next few minutes jumping awkwardly up the cliff towards them. When we got to the top, the gang in the house were shooting at a gang on a nearby hill, but they quickly spotted us and we took fire from both gangs with no cover, we died quickly. :)

Quite tempted by this but not sure my PC is up to it or I have the patience to win as it looks like camping is a necessity. Got an Intel Core i5 2500K, 8GB DDR3 1866MHz with a GTX 760 2048MB.

I played a few hours yesterday then got it refunded. Might be my amd 280x but didn't look good, felt clunky will wait for more patches. Will go back to H1Z1
