PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

somethings that might look like cheating might be lucky though

I was bored stood top of a building, this car comes out of nowhere - a real distance away - I decided to fire some shots off at it - mainly as bored

and suddenly "head-shot" while he was in the car lol - complete "luck"
Sometimes the buildings don't render in and it can stay like that the whole game, so if you're in a squad, you have an all-seeing team mate who can spot for you.

Happened to me once, but in solo so it was totally useless as there was no one to guide me where to walk!

Hi guys,

Finished my build for now and had my first foray into PUBG this afternoon. As expected I am a complete noob. I am initially just going in to get used to using a keyboard and mouse. Iv fired 1 shotgun round so far :D

If anybody fancies carrying me in a few games until I get on my feet that would be great :)

Will be on most afternoons.

One thing that is a bit annoying is if you are a passenger in a car and grt shot at and knocked out, it automatically ejects you from the car so you csnt be revived by a teammate in the car itself.

I kinda like that function. It's quite difficult to kill someone in a moving car(especially at distance, leading for shot). If they could carry on driving away after getting one of them it would be too easy IMO.

By knocking one out you're forcing them to engage or abandon a team mate.

Yeah I'm with this too, whats the fair play in driving 3 unconscious teammates to a hidey hole to revive and get out of a firefight. Might aswell just drive round in a car for the entire game if thats how it works

Yeah I had this last week in a Duo game... the thing is it's not just spotting, you can get kills on anyone you see as well... we dropped into the Prison with tons of other players and I ended up getting a kill as I randomly fired at people. I was expecting the buildings to suddenly finish loading and pop in but they didn't. We ran away from the Prison and once we realised it was a permanent bug we thought it was the most amazing accidental hack ever... but after a few minutes of trying to navigate houses and loot soon discovered it actually sucks - I was getting stuck every few seconds, teleporting into tiny bathrooms (on my friend's screen) and unable to open doors myself (since they hadn't rendered)... Amusingly we eventually died crashing a motorbike :p

Agreed, although I think passengers should at least be able to use healing items while being driven around (provided they aren't knocked out) - surely they can swig a redbull while in the car?

Not really anything to add, but yeah, agree!!!

I can't see why passengers can't use meds, and likewise, I think being able to drive off with a downed team mate would be massively OP.

I wouldn't mind people being able to use energy drinks and painkillers while being a passenger in a car, but wouldn't want people able to use first aid kits or the medkit.

How come? If you've just come out of a firefight and managed to get away in a vehicle then it's silly to make you stop and get out again just to heal (doubly so if you're using the vehicle to outrun the blue)...

Had some good games on Discord yesterday.

I swear I spend half the game just looking for a bag with just a bare inventory at hand and having to leave a load of stuff on the ground until I've found a bag.

Its one of those things where I don't really know whether to call it a serious frustration, or whether its just all part of the game.

I don't mind having rubbish guns and gear, but not having a bag is incredibly annoying!

I've had that for a few games over the last week or so, really annoying.

Oh so annoying! Especially if you solo Q in a squad and watch the team mates vacuum up all your intended loot and disappear with it. I should poke the discord more.

I do find if I start on the back foot I play better however. The second I get a decent sniper etc I get lit up from nowhere.

I had a great game the other day, circle was just before the south east military island bridge. Ended up camping with sod all gear, assault rifle and a 4x. Took out about 3 cars worth of people with my team, 4 kills for myself. Sadly not one of them had any health, boosts etc and mildly shot armour. So when it came to the smaller circles we had absolutely nothing to heal with and we ended up coming 3rd.

Because it gives the group in the car the option to drive in a wide arch back to the enemy (e.g. around a couple of houses), giving them enough seconds for the passengers to all med up.
If the enemy could keep circling while healing then the one's pinned down are going to end up at a major disadvantage.

exactly - everyone would just spend the game driving round in a vehicle. end game would just be a demolition derby!

It would be nice for those that don't want to abuse exploits to heal over time while traveling with mates over the entire map. I don't think being able to use bandages as a passenger would make any difference.

But it would, as mentioned a few times above. teams in a vehicle just have to keep circling and shooting another team. They can keep healing on the move while the other team has to keep looking for cover. Would give vehicle based squads a massive advantage.
