was running 8gb of ddr3 ram fine up till about a week. never had any more or less crashes than anyone else, as long as you're not alt tabbing between screens and running a bunch of other stuff 8gb is fine and unlikely to be the reason for the problems.

Dropping foliage down also means trees don't render at distance so you can see people running through 'forested' areas that you wouldn't if you had foliage at ultra
Hmmm...tested this a few weeks back, a teammate was at the edge of where the tree's rendered for me, as the tree's vanished, so did he.
Unless somethings been changed, although i'm 450 hours in this game and have never seen a player outside of where tree's render in.
Happy to be proven wrong of course, just talking from my own experience.
once you over a certain distance you will still be seen.this is why you never go corn fields to early
last couple of waves will be okay those.
Yeah, was talking about tree rendering though.
I get so many easy kills in later circles from folks who think they're hidden in the grass.
Thought that was fixed in a update, if not needs to be fixed as soon as possible.
I've played since day dot and the grass has never rendered more than a few hundred meters, if that...you can see it pop in as you move across the landscape.

Pretty sure I came across my first hacker last night. I was in a house and heard a truck pull up and continue to drive around in circles out side the building I was in. I went to the roof to see and I could hear the truck but not see it.
The sound of the truck continued for a few minutes but still nothing was there. I thought it was a sound glitch so went out side to check when the truck appears out of no where and runs me over.
Told my team mate who saw the whole thing and said as soon as it hit me the truck disappeared again. He goes out side to have a look and squish gets the same. Wtf

had a few near misses with 'electric' buggies.... never heard them coming due to the sound bug and only caught them in corner of my FOV as they hurtled silently towards the squad.
I've been able to spot people a few squares away that others have said they cant see due to the trees...
I've tested it a few times by changing the settings in game and trees at distance don't render but you can see people moving. Been a while so i'll check it later tonight.

So annoyed! 2 kills in and at a crate, got an awm and an 8x and hear a car coming. It rams the opposite side of the crate as I'm hiding behind it and I get killed! Didn't even get to shoot the bloody thing. Was in such a nice position too for the circle too

Have any of you looked at the global leader boards before? The top players apparently have 30%+ win rates for games and k/ds above 5. That seems a bit suspicious to me. Could be wrong though.

Anyone got problems with right click aiming. Its just messed up in some matches. I will right click, go into barrel view and then it will go straight back to third person on its own. I can't consistently get myself into the view I want and I'm dying because of it.
My mouse is quite old and I thought it was broken but I don't think it is.
