I have the same issue. I have a mate who likes to drop with other people but not too many other people. So he will drop Lipovka for instance rather than school or georgepool. I like to play the slow game whereas he will literally get killed within the first 5 minutes then just leave because he died and doesn't want to see me playing strategically.

I go for kills but I like to build up the pace rather than go in all guns blazing at the start. It doesn't help I reach Lipovka 1 minute before he does because he has timed the parachute all wrong so when he lands the other guys all have full gear and he has nothing.


I also encountered my first hacker. Squad of us short jumped to a boat. We all got in and started driving pretty much straight away from the flight path. 2 of us got instantly downed (no bodyshots) 1 shot 1 headshot on 2 of us. We were doing 90 km/h in a boat within 10 seconds of touching the water. The guy if he was at the houses (only place with loot near us) was a good 200 metres away from us. So the chances of him getting an AK, 4-8 times scope and being that accurate with it within the first 30 seconds of the game has got to be in the millions if not billions. I couldn't report him as I died due to the boat running me over instantly after being downed. The other guy in the squad ended up at the bottom of the ocean drowning to death. I told him to report the guy. He was sitting behind me so you want to be at the back of the boat if your being shot at. You won't be instakilled by friendly fire.
 
The latest AMD update for my R9 290 has made it unplayable:

1. The lobby is extremely laggy
2. In game, you see yourself standing there, but nothing changes except the sounds...you hear the other players and shooting and the plane etc. but it just leaves a static image of me standing there.

Borked!

Edit: PUBG also updated (first time in over a week) so that could also be to blame.

Any similar issues for anyone else of video freeze but audio and computer still running just fine.

Edit 2: Changed from Fullscreen Window to Fullscreen and problem solved.

i've been running pubg without any issues ever since i got my 1080ti. No lag no stutter, but i just picked the game up a few days ago and im having weird frame drops into the 30ish if not lower at times.. it makes no sense. So it may well be a pubg patch gone semi wrong
 
i can tell you now they are using bots to fill servers off peak.how do i know ?

because earlier was trying to capture footage for video showing it got some and 3 games in a row on squad first person view had 40-50 afk.this was NA so would have been very early there.i think they using bots to fill to hundred on servers not busy in countrys not at peak times.no way would you get 3 games with 40-50 people afk in a row.how many servers this is happening on who knows

TBH I've just had four games where I would have appeared to have been AFK as the game video was frozen. If this isn't an isolated issue, then perhaps others are experiencing the same thing thus appearing to people like you as bots.

Why do you think they'd have bots in this? To artificially inflate the player count to make it look more popular than it is?

who knows but you can definitely see it almost every game in squad fp servers at off peak time.there is no logical reason for 40 people to be afk in one game nevermind 3/4 games in a row i tried it.

in older games server owners used to use bots to get others to join or fill servers partially.its probably that so people in offpeak or unbusy times areas can play.if you get a truck or gun its stupid could run 20 over no problem if you dont get caught by the bp mining crews :p

two images nearly 50 people in both games afk.doesnt make sense was NA first person servers.i say bots.






 
doubt it's bots generated server side. plenty of games I've played that started with a hell of a lot less than the full 100 - sometimes barely 60 - especially at off peak NA times.

I don't really want to quote you again because I know the reply is going painful but have a look at the player total in your own screenie - if bots were generating to fill servers you wouldn't have started with only 88 players. in fact playing in the test server off peak I think I remember starting with less than 40 players. you playing on the test servers ;):p
