PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

5th last night in a big building near the end guy walks past me I follow him round a corner as i round the corner he spins and unloads both barrels of a shotty into me.

I was crouched and walking he must had sonar hearing to have heard me.

Played around 10 games no RP no stat changes, the Boxes were down to 700 but I had no points to buy them.

Somehow managed to kill a guy who ran behind a tree as I drove at him and I hit the tree square on and he died somehow.

This is exactly what its about! The game is interesting that even when 3/4 of our guys wiped in the last 10 we spec'd our last guy until the end and cheered when he won.... Hell even 2 mates on TS were watching through stream broadcast haha!!

Isn't crouch walking broken at the moment, i'm sure i saw something that said it makes noise when it shouldn't.
 
I think all the stats/points and unlocks reset when the game fully launches.

Can't remember where I read that though - might have been on the reddit sub.
 
Has anyone else noticed people fully loaded with gear and weapons within like 30 seconds of landing from the plane? I was wondering if some people had perhaps found some sort of exploit to bypass the plane or land quicker.

It can happen, I've had many matches where I have landed and run through a dozen buildings and not found anything better than a pistol, but then I've also had many games where literally the first room I have run into has had a huge haul of goodies in it. For example in my last solo game last night, I landed near to one of those houses with the garage , ran inside and straight away on the floor of the garage there was a level 1 helmet, level 2 body vest, an AKM with ammo and an M416 with ammo. Granted there were no medical supplies, but in terms of offence and defence, I was brilliantly kitted out within about the first minute of landing.

Obviously if people are landing in open fields and geared within 30 secs, thats something entirely different, but the random nature of loot does mean that it can often happen in the first room you walk into.

I get you.... Not always... The absolute best place to near enough completely gear up is to go into the under ground bunkers located centre/ south east... I went there last night and had everything I could hope for! Highly contested tho.

For EG:

10mins looting:

Akm 120 rounds 4x/red dot
SKS 60 rounds
level 3 body arm
level 2 helmet
coats
nades
stuns
medic kits
super medic kits
 
its luck, ive had nothing but a crossbow once, and that was when i was AFK on the plane and got dropped at the end, 5 other people were obviously the same and i head shot all of them as they stood there, if anyone was watching the feed that must have looked very dodgy, 5 crossbow headshots as fast as you can reload.

Lastnight i had a building with loot from heaven M416 SKS loads of mods lvl 2 backpack armour and helmet, was setting my gear up when somebody shot me in the back with a shotgun while i was in the menus. :mad:

Apart from diving for the ground i dont know any way to speed up you parachute.
 
oooo - just finished 2nd in a solo round. Got a bit lucky as I was being shot at and injured - ran into a large farm building to heal up and that ended up being the safe zone for the whole match - camped it out a bit as I didn't have much supplies and ended up killing 3 people from the window of the barn.

Yep i do this sometimes, landing near hangers is really useful, manged to get helmet, backpack lvl 2, police vest lvl 2, nades, medkits, shotgun+SCAR-L with ammo all within the first few footsteps. Its risk/reward though as it only took another 30 seconds for people in the hanger next to me to wipe me out : ))))))
 
PSA We've pushed an update to all servers to improve performance & reduce lag. These updates will continue on a daily basis!

Tomorrow on the dev blog we reveal our update schedule for early access. For now, a look at a new mask getting added to the game!

One thing I love about these Devs is just how much they have been in talks with the community!! We know what is happening when its happening!! It sets apart other Early access gaming on another level!!

Not at all disappointed buying into this game, The best £25 I have paid in years for a game.
 
I normally detest watching others play games, I guess that's due to being 45 or something, never could understand why my son would spend hours potential gaming time watching others gaming.

I now have to eat my words after he recommended SovietWomble's twitch channel to me.......

I will have to purchase this game, I don't normally ever PVP, but this looks like so much fun.
