PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

What have you set you DPI and in game sensitivity to? I know it is subjective, just interested.
I've set mine to 2000 DPI in windows

Gen sens 20
Vehicle sens 20
targeting 5
scoping 5
2x 4
4x 4
8x 3
15x10 (I never get a 15x so not really tested this haha)

I just need to work out my FOV as my screen is so big everything seems so zoomed out :(

its best to just use what feels naturally.some people like really low dpi.i use 400 which many do.some love really high dpi which can really help on fast movements/shots.

when you see some of shrouds stuff you get why its good.

Yea' shroud is 400 dpi with 50-55 in game I believe.

I don't know if people are aware of this but there is an option in the config file to change toggle aim down sights to hold aim down sights. I prefer hold - always have and will.

Press windows + R, paste this and hit enter

Code:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini

Scroll to the bottom and change 'InputModeADS=Toggle' to 'InputModeADS=Hold'

Save and exit.

23 in game
800 dpi
6 in Windows. I believe any thing over 6 in Windows adds mouse acceleration.

Recently lowered my sensitivity and finally got my first solo chicken dinner. Silenced auto shotty and mini 14 for the win.

Both guns are op. Loving the auto shot gun at the moment with a silencer or compensator, it's effective range is huge and you can move while hip firing making you much harder to kill.

crying at drdisrespect other night.he had auto shotty shot a guy looting 3 times guy carried on looting as if not there then one shotted him.:D he went mental.:p

you guys keep on mentioning reshade. got a 1440p monitor (27"). what settings do you guys use or would recommend?
It looks horrendous - no idea how people play with that fake, over-saturated, over-coloured look. It's like something from a cartoon.

I understand it makes things easier to spot, but I don't care; it makes the game look so fake.

my problem isn't spotting tbh. it's making smart plays. like i'll forget to look through a window on my way to a door. only to open the door and there is a guy running towards me with a shotgun which could have easily been avoided had i looked through the window and just camped outside or on the corner for him to come out.

27" monitor is quite big when i'm only 2 feet away from it. so i can spot things pretty well IMO

If you set it up like that then it does :D. You'll see a fair few people using those settings as it makes skin tones bright orange. They're not doing it for looks.

The defaults don't look cartoony. Will dig out one of my videos/gifs.

sound is one of the key things with this game.if you see many people who are decent especially near buildings you hop by them next to the wall you can often hear people before seeing them.then if noise go in.flats are the easiest to go in.go in front and sit at the little panels.you can hear anyone in building then just lure them down.most people walk down stairs then kill them.no point in going up for them.

That's just 1 way of setting reshape up. It's a powerful post processing tool with 100s of configurations. Don't like saturated cartoony colours? Don't use the cartoony colours plugin.

I personally just use a sharpening filter to get rid of some of the fuzziness. No change in colours.
