Yea' shroud is 400 dpi with 50-55 in game I believe.its best to just use what feels naturally.some people like really low dpi.i use 400 which many do.some love really high dpi which can really help on fast movements/shots.
when you see some of shrouds stuff you get why its good.
Press windows + R, paste this and hit enter
Code:%LOCALAPPDATA%\TslGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\GameUserSettings.ini
Scroll to the bottom and change 'InputModeADS=Toggle' to 'InputModeADS=Hold'
Save and exit.

It looks horrendous - no idea how people play with that fake, over-saturated, over-coloured look. It's like something from a cartoon.you guys keep on mentioning reshade. got a 1440p monitor (27"). what settings do you guys use or would recommend?
If you set it up like that then it does . You'll see a fair few people using those settings as it makes skin tones bright orange. They're not doing it for looks. It looks horrendous - no idea how people play with that fake, over-saturated, over-coloured look. It's like something from a cartoon.
I understand it makes things easier to spot, but I don't care; it makes the game look so fake.
my problem isn't spotting tbh. it's making smart plays. like i'll forget to look through a window on my way to a door. only to open the door and there is a guy running towards me with a shotgun which could have easily been avoided had i looked through the window and just camped outside or on the corner for him to come out.
27" monitor is quite big when i'm only 2 feet away from it. so i can spot things pretty well IMO

I don't know if people are aware of this but there is an option in the config file to change toggle aim down sights to hold aim down sights. I prefer hold - always have and will.
