PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Really dont see why people buy skins/cosmetics, what a waste of money, just fools paying stupid money, not just this game all games, especially csgo.
Cause they like how they look and they want them? Therefore are willing to pay for them. The really expensive stuff is for mad people but they do tend to fluctuate in price and you can get your money back.

If I had back all the money I've spent on cosmetics for games I've played over the years I'd be a very very very rich man, actually include all the cash shop items etc I would be pretty well off.

I initially got a few bits for free from regular crates, then used that money for gamescon crates. I got lucky, got about £40 stuff. I took a chance, bought some more crates with real money sat in paypal, about £20 worth. I then sold regular crates from gaming to get the money for keys, from that I got £180 worth of cosmetic items.

Since then i've watched the gamescon stuff like a hawk, noticed a dip last week, bought another 20 crates with real money, they're currently almost 170% of what I paid.

Bottom line, I put in £55/60 of real money over a few months, I currently have £300 of cosmetics and £80 of crates.

I'm such a fool ;)

Yeh, you got the right ideal(trading), i did mean the casual person that buys to keep and look pretty in game :) mind you, i guess im a bit guilty myself, as i have bought car skins/paints myself for my racing sims :)

Best loadouts so far?

Ended up with:
Scar-L, x4, silenced, extended and vert grip
UMP9, extended, red dot vert grip
P18C quick-extended, silencer
Lvl 2 helmet + armour

Down to 25ish, on a ridge on a road with a hut behind me, bubble behind me (3rd bubble) and 3 guys having a fight below the ridge.
Shuffled up to the edge, heard a noise behind me and there's a dude in a gillie suit hadn't seen me (somehow). Sprayed him... kar98 fully pimped except the silencer (flash suppressor instead) to replace the UMP and a perfect lvl 3 helmet (I body shot him to death, 1/2 clip of scar-l). I got engagements covered at basically every range with that.

Don't think I've EVER had such a good loadout. Was fuming when I was tagged a moment later by a guy I'd even looked at and for some reason momentarily dismissed :(

top 5 seems to be a barrier I can't break at the moment and I keep making silly mistakes like jumping out of vehicles too early and nearly dying lol

After 450 hours (i know!!) - the single map is starting to get boring for me.

I'm still enjoying the game but it needs a new map quickly. Only so many times you can drop into places and play the same way - still love the game, but it's starting to get a little repetitive now. Sooner the new maps arrive the better.

It is luck, you could have easily ended up with crap that was worth peanuts, The odds are stacked as we have no idea what he odds are of getting something worth while, for all we know were more likely to be stuck by lighting.

However if the first lot of stuff as worth nothing I wouldn't have carried on. I was lucky, did get some good bits, gambled a bit more, got more good bits.

Curiosity got the better of me last night, opened one more gamescon crate after selling 4 regular crates for a key, another pair of shoes worth £20+ :D

Jammy git! Hope you have been buying Euromillions tickets!

OK - So i'm 100 hours into PUBG now.

I've effectively stopped playing CS:GO because of it.

But why? As others have said, its glitchy and laggy as funk and isn't well optimised. But it is bloody addictive!

Anyone else found themselves not playing much else?

I've literally not played any other games in months. In fact when I built my new rig recently and did a fresh install it was the only game on my steam list I reinstalled!!

Ha!

Is there much of a community on here who play regularly?

Would be nice to play with fewer randoms!
