Yeah I was thinking that, I might pick up a modmic to attach to my AKGs. Then ill join up with some of you on here.

Yeah a mic is really helpful. Not just for call outs but just general banter as well.

Late stage I've found letting them kill each other then pushing the winner to work quite well. Inevitably the winner will have taken a hit so should be an easier kill. Very few people seem ready to take on a new squad straight away they mostly seem to focus on healing and looting. Late stage game I think is more tactical up until the final few circles it's run and gun.

You'd be more than welcome to join in on Discord pretty much everyone is friendly and there's a wide range of ability so anyone can fit in easily :).
 
Had my first go with the AWM last night. Our squad ended up with two AWMs (mine suppressed) and an M249. Suffice to say we won without too much bother. Felt incredibly sorry for one squad we picked off from a few hundred metres away. They were working their way around the southern coast on military island working their way towards the big group of buildings where a lot of fighting was going on, whilst we'd worked our way around from Novo, sat up in the trees. Four shots between me and the other AWM and they were all down. They didn't even react until the second guy was knocked out, poor sods. :D
 
No surprise there at all bJN - I've started pushing air drops more often now, as it seems key to longevity. Last 24 hours and I've had the mk14, M24 and Groza - and what a difference they make!
 
I kept running into the same guy in a lot of my matches over the weekend, almost feel like the guy was hunting me...

I love getting the mk14 in an early game drop, it makes a huge difference to how I play as it just rips through anyone that gets in your way.
It's by far my favourite gun in the game.
 
Ergh I'm really struggling with the game past couple days :(. Had been top 2k since new season happily get 1-2 kills(normally more) a game but I'm just getting annihilated past two days can't seem to kill anyone before I die.

yea...same here....I am hitting people but they don't die...I get killed with a headshot...really frustrating.
 
For me thats just how the game goes. I can have a few rubbish games then string together a few good ones. Although I've started checking the stats on people that kill me if i sense foul play. The guy thats currently 2nd on SOLO EU FPP Bot_Mario 2 tapped me with a kar at 800m+ while moving, 2nd bullet would have been in the air before the first landed!

How u know he was 800 meters away?

Generally When running I'm always zigzagging/moving erratically. In this particular case I was behind one of those sheds you get in the middle of nowhere healing up, after peaking left and right a few times I broke cover to get a better position as soon as I was out of cover he fired.
