PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Ok, ok, ok... I take it all back. Whatever's been done to fix the fps is amazing. So much better to play now. 100 fps constant at mid settings (low foliage of course)

Finally got on to this.

One thing i've noticed that seems odd. Increasing the AA to High/Ultra actually improved the FPS.

Any other settings like that? Someone mentioned draw distance too, but doesn't seem right.
 
Well I've found out how people are racking up such a good number of kills. You just wait til the end of the flight for it to autoeject you, every single round that I've tried it there are at least half a dozen people who are AFK and get autoejected and then just stand there. So you land next to them and just punch them all to death for half a dozen easy kills, hey presto 6:1 kill ratio every round.
 
Is it only 20 points for a kill? That combined with the reduced drop rate (and subsequent increased loot hunting/camping rather than fighting) seems a strange balance. Still love the game though. Was carried to a squad win last night - only win i've been part of! Must stay alive for the next win.

They need to make the deploying of the parachute a manual thing so if your afk you die from the fall.

That or just make it so that you dont autoeject at the end of the flight. If you dont jump by the end of the flight it returns you to the lobby. Would stop people getting easy kills by killing afkers
 
in the original mod you had to slow yourself or you died.implementing it as it was would mean all the afk people would die.

Heard about this on reddit. Just tried it...only 1 afk'er...watched for a while, like 2 minutes so definitely afk, as soon as I was about to punch, he sprinted then circled to punch me. Led him on a benny hill chase for about 5 minutes :D
