PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Would be nice if the circle randomised better. When I play it always seems to land up in the same general area.
 
Will be interesting to see how they impliment killcams as could be exploited in squads unless there is a 10s delay or so in the feedback.

Any idea on timescale? a month? 3 months? the game is tilted for full release in about 4 months.

I agree with this, I would like to see it much more random, I'd love to see circles where it ends right on the edge of the map, rather than being central. Cant really think of too many times where its ended right up in the top right corner, or right up in the top left corner, or bottom left. Somewhere where its right on the edge of the map.
 
They need to fix these servers first.... Shocking performance. One in two or three Games is decided by desynchronization, lag, and rubber banding. Throwing a grenade in a sticky situation is almost pointless!
 
Absolutely awful stutter and desync today, no doubt linked to the highest number of concurrent players ever at 160000. It's starting to turn into a real problem.
 
we hopped onto the NA servers and it was loads better than the EU ones, although when we did we got to 2nd and I balled it up on the last shot :( sorry @Thekwango :(

Nah, @Boycey0211 that was on me. I should've switched to my akm with 4x scope and smashed my target long before he got to me.

Edit: Just had a solo on NA servers and lag and hitreg are far superior to the EU ones currently, at least for me.
 
what an utter fail! literally fell dead into the safe zone with only 1 other player left!

That's the thing I'm not convinced the issues are down to the unreal engine core like it's been suggested. Even during peak periods the NA servers are so much smoother.

Unless in some weird case the server code is different in NA it has to be down to ****** servers. Considering the amount of French/German/Russian accents I hear on NA it's probably not ping related.

Yep,m ami totally agree. I reckon it's about 20:00 Tennessee time (where I think I read the NA servers are located) so pretty peak time. Smooth as butter. Couple of 'lag' incidents opening doors but a **** load less than the EU servers. Gun play and hitreg infinitely better.

I'm close to taking a break because of the server issues, in a duo with kwango tonight I got shot at point blank with an m16, didnt hear any shots fired and neither did he. Just insta-died. This week I've had all sorts of issues including some of an extremely dubious nature that if I had managed to record would be beyond reasonable doubt. I know its early access but I don't want to ruin the game for myself, done that with a few others. And they really REALLY need to sort anticheat out.
