PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

Damn that segmentnext website has a lot of ads.

Both of those links may not work as they were done before the update which locked a lot of changes to the config files. Some will prevent the game connecting(no idea which but people had the issue when the update came out and were advised to recreate those files).

Haven't found a good one since latest patch sadly.

Bit cheeky too as its pretty much a copypasta of the guide on Steam.

As Mynight said too, most of those tweaks have been locked now. FOV for one. The only real 'tweak' you can do now is the launch options and changing your graphics settings.


One thing I'd like to know guys, some players seem to be way quieter than me, even when I'm crouch walking and aiming I still seem much louder than them. As I missing something!?

Take you shoes off if you haven't already, much quieter sneaking around :)
 
This game lol :) Had a good run twice yesterday which both times got ended by my stupidity. First time jumped off a motorbike travelling at full pelt, didn't realise it'd kill me. Second time I went over a short barbed wire fence on a motorbike (expecting the fence to fall apart and let me through) and must have been flung from the bike as I just fell over dead on the spot.

Now going to be a lot more cautious of vehicles in general :D
 
If @Boycey0211 and myself get anymore 2nd place finishes there will be murder done. Think we had 2 if not 3 last night in duos and I had a couple in solo. Just can't seem to get over the winning line :mad:

Had a win in a group the other day , was epic , first we knew a team was held up in a house (was about 30 people still left and the circle was tiny) .. so we bombarded the house, ended up chucking a grenade though the 2nd floor window for the last kill.. then at the end me and a mate was the only 2 left in our team and was surrounded laid down in a corn field , kept on having to pop up fire a few rounds lay back down and move then repeat, was so tense I have no idea how we won , was epic though ! Love this game

I got my first win yesterday with 7 kills 6 hours play time.

the First plane air drop dropped 2 crates and I got both, first crate had a machine gun and level 3 vest second crate had a AWM and 15x scope and level 3 helm!

I killed last guy just spraying the machine gun lol in 3rd person think I got lucky :P

I got the M249 yesterday but never had a chance to shoot a single shot. Kind of wish I'd just had a play instead lol.

How's the 15x scope? Must be tricky at medium range?

I had a 8x scope I looted before too that I switched to if needed but I got 1 nice shot with the 15x with a guy I couldn't see unless I was scoped in lol was 800 meters on a guy in a window
 
The reason our groups take our shoes off when in squad/duo is so we can distinguish out footsteps from enemies, it does work...until you have an enemy that's done the same :D
