PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

I've just started playing this solo. Kind of enjoying it, but lost almost every gun battle so far in my first few games.

I wish the visuals were better though, it does look a bit naff. I've knocked settings down to medium for a smoother experience and to be honest didn't notice much change in visuals so will leave it.

I find myself getting a bit panicky in it which is good :)

Best finish is only 7th after about 5 rounds, that was only due to me being a snake!

Look forward to other maps etc.

It is random, it wasn't like a planned comment prior to clicking the opening of the thread, but sleeping dogs, watch dogs, saints row to name 3 are all basically GTA with their own themes, gameplay and actions are similar, the opening of the trailer of this game reminded me of it also, I'm allowed my opinion and no where did I say it looked crap, just implied the typical likeness of the other games.

4th person I've seen respond like this after I replied to all, the video on page one in the op opening is just someone punching statue like people and someone in the background jumping like an idiot, it looks that style of game play, would it be better if I said it looked like a watch dog knock off with an army thing? I haven't watched any other videos, but my opinion on what the game reminds me of isn't going to change.

So the only video you've watched is the 60 second waiting period before the game starts? :)

You might wanna watch some more vids then as it's nothing at like any of the games you've mentioned. In fact it coindlt he any less like them. And frankly, saying this game looks like GTA makes you look a tad silly.

Yes, it's what was in the first post, may have glimpsed on YouTube when looking up other gaming videos, I don't really care to look at others properly though, I've seen enough to have an opinion, but again I didn't say the game was crap

Nah, but you did watch 33 seconds of footage and decided it was a GTA clone.

With that kind of assumption I can also say it is a Half Life clone too, as you can move and it has guns.

Sorry let's add some division or even just add ghost recon wildlands to it, just watched couple videos, it's a lot like all those games actually, just army based, doesn't look like a serious game compared to say the division, just have a mess around.

I'll get it when I'm bother and it's cheaper, but still view it with the same opinion

Half life is first person and a good game, but you can't compare half life to GTA.

When people can't look out side the box they really shouldn't comment, I don't care if you agree or disagree with my assumption of what the game reminds me off, I'm still allowed my own thoughts on it.
 
What makes a game "serious" these days? :confused:

Regardless the only things it "takes" from GTA is the movement and that it has guns and a couple of cars. Other than that there's no comparison.

Why? Because I have different views to the rest if the world? The game looks silly never mind what you think of my comment, but yet again as nobody seems to be able to read, I didn't say the game was ****, the games I compared it too are not ****, so why would I think this be any different?. People should read properly before commenting replies. Having a petty debate over nothing.

You view it how you want to view it and I will view it how I want to, don't dwell on someone's opinion when it has no effect on you.
