PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

We got the all important chicken dinner bleek! Was a good laugh last night tbh

Aye, just need a pc that can keep up so I can you know, shoot at things when they walk straight past me... instead of staring at a grey mist. And then, the inventory loads, but it's too late to start fumbling bandages!

Damn this game is good. I was a big fan of Dayz waiting days for these kind of fire fights. Finally got 2 chicken dinners yesterday on random matchmaking, lots of fun if you get a few good friendly people.

I have played 24 hours now and starting to really enjoy it . But squad with randoms with no mics that run off thinking they are Rambo gets frustrating at times .

This! Bl3ek you ruined so many other players, not to mention saving us all with your nades and fuel! It seemed to be that your pc's performance was getting worse the longer you played though, which was most peculiar.

Got my first father and son Duo Chicken Dinner on NA servers last night, superb game really enjoying it.
Been a while since I've been able to play a decent game with my son online.

If anyone's still interested seems that 'Stream Sniping' thing might not be as innocent as it first seemed.

Also, someone on Reddit did a bit of digging..

Let's review all evidence here.

[cracks knuckles]

The stream sniper:

  • Claims that s/he doesn't watch twitch
  • Yet still coincidentally left and queued as the same time as the streamer
  • killed the streamer who had just fired a ton of unsilenced weaponry
  • Has a possible history of this action
The streamer:

  • Didn't cover up the server information when he streamed
  • Didn't have his map covered up either
  • Chose to not play with a delay despite not having any information covered that he could have
  • died after shooting his unsilenced weapon on the edge of the circle
  • REEE'd about getting stream sniped despite not taking precautions
PU:

  • Cannot prove that the banned party was stream sniping
  • Banned them anyway
The Verdict: Nobody involved handled the situation correctly. Video game drama is ******* dumb.

I highly doubt anyone did an investigation into this but I did...Nova and Lotoe were both in a game with summit1g and minikerr July 12th. Nova, the OP of the stream sniper thread, said it was "literally impossible" to get in a match with a streamer. Turns out BOTH NOVA AND LOTOE were in the ruins while summit and mini were in the broken down castle in the ruins. Seems pretty fishy to me...oh and nova made his Steam profile private so you can't see his screenshots anymore. Luckily I saved screenshots and uploaded them. Check my past comments for the links to photos. I'll edit this message once I get home and upload the pictures here as well.

Edit PROOF:
http://imgur.com/a/Db5in OP stating that he has never been in a game with a streamer

http://imgur.com/a/Np0pJ this is OP's Profile

http://imgur.com/a/7qjpA OP's profile screenshots(read the caption) Both Nova and Lotoe in duos(top right) summit and mini both in kill feed. Also seems like Nova's mini map icon is pointed towards where summit and mini were.

http://imgur.com/a/FA7dV Clear image of screen shot that was taken by Nova

Second Edit(Minikerr Knocks out Lotoe

Bluehole need a PR manager. This situation, plus the microtransactions and playerunknown publicly getting triggered by a fictional character are all PR disasters. Plus it would allow the devs to work on the game.

PR disaster? I think that's quite an overstatement. This is a bit of meaningless drama. Millions of people appear to be buying, enjoying (and recommending) this game on its gameplay alone.
