PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS - Thread

first game of the day.. last 3 left i got lucky with circle and last circle landed on me as circle is decreasing 2 die to playzone haha ez win!
 
The games ****** for me. Since an update a week or 2 ago im having this bug where its making me lag/stutter. But its not constant. I think its whenever other players are within a certain distance. Me and a mate can drop far away and ill be fine, then ill start stuttering. We did it the other day and I knew other people had come to the town because of it. If im running its like every 4 or 5 seconds it skips a second and ports me forward. Really ruining the game cos otherwise weve been play tonnes of it. Even had a few games on the overclockers discord with you guys :(

Ive tried a few things but not the solution obviously yet. Ive tried putting some code into the start up properties thing. Also adding a line of code to the Engine.ini file in the folders somewhere. Is it worth doing a fresh install on another SSD and hoping for the best?

Not sure mate, but it sounds like you might be having problems with your sound and that's playing havoc with your connection.
Out of interest have you tried changing the sound settings in the bios? :D
 
well...i tried 5 times to get the game running tonight and it kept crashing with a black screen...eventually got it working but now all my stats have reset...anyone else had this

What is your spec?
 
i just started getting this tonight.if you look at applications pubg with be responding / not responding / responding /not responding.:confused:

think it maybe discord related.

this may help for discord

For Discord users, got to Settings->Appearance and turn off Hardware Acceleration.

DanShields is my steam name btw if ive played with any of you guys. Had a few games with Hawkeye1 and a few others.

Also, I reinstalled it last night to a different SSD, and still got it :(

I had similar issues a good few months ago, and turning off hardware acceleration in discord solved it.

Have you tried removing the start up options code and the line from engine.ini? I had problems months ago and was running start up options and after an update it lagged and stuttered quite a bit. Removed the options and it's been fine since. Also what driver version are you running?

On my machine if the wife is signed in and I load PUBG without realising I get loads of stutter and can't use the shadowplay highlights and that then requires a reboot.
