Playstation 4 being announced February 20th?

Indeed, so a lot are comparing it to PC, I dont know any that runs 8GB GDDR5, so straight away this console is doing something a PC doesnt.

And its unified between GPU and APU. AND its a single device, so a developer could work some real magic, without much OS overhead.

Unified GPU and APU. Look at your CPU temps, now your GPU temps. You want them both on the same die? Either the GPU is gimped or the cooler is bigger than the TV its hooked up to.

Seems okay now but its just people saying its simple got more boring :(, Did they state its not BC? Mine was stuttering so may of missed it but if i did and its true its not BC why are people surprised? The Tech is completely different

Crytek CEO was right though next gen consoles still won't hold a candle to PC's.

If the rumours are correct the PS4 is a 1.7Ghz 8 core AMD cpu and 7 series GPU already surpassed by high end PC hardware.
Im confused why anyone cares, considering PC gaming is supposedly restricted by consoles in the first place :p

ps3ud0

Well, for me the PS4 seems like a pre-order-in-waiting :)
Really happy with all I have seen/heard so far....am I alone ?!

So basically its crapper than my mid-range pc is at the moment.

Oh lawd. You do realise there are MASSIVE overheads associated with Windows on a PC compared to the low level access developers get on a console? Not to mention how the architecture is specifically designed to achieve as much bandwidth as possible to run the games.

They are thinking way too hard about the social side, most gamers play to get away from the real world for a few hours.

Bit underwhelmed so far.

So what happens to my ps3 discs? Will i have to rebuy the games on the cloud??

If so then i won't be buying a ps4 for a couple of years until i finish playing my back-cataloge
