PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

Could someone kindly explain how the online save data works when using a new system, for example if I start a new game on my PS4 Pro will that automatically overwrite my old online save data? Because I think I just lost my Resogun Data :-(, I just assumed the game would automatically grab the old save data from the cloud, so I'm presuming you have to re-download your game/s, and then download your online save data to system first before starting the game as it might overwrite old save data?

Didn't DF say some games run worse on the the PRO

I think running a Pro on a 1080p is a good way for problems to occur. I also think HDR is a step too far for the performance hit, so luckily I don't use either, but things will improve in both departments when software houses get used of the Pro hopefully.

It's not the few frames that's the real problem though, what about screen tearing and stutters caused by not being in sync with the TV, that's the major annoyance.

Input lag is the key when buying a TV that you'll play games on, everyone sounds happier with a stuttering picture and 4 more rays coming of the sun.

Price of Scorpio could be a problem for me. If it's around the rumoured £500, we are in the territory of top cards like the 1080, which will probably be even cheaper by Scorpio release date. Im very sceptical that the Scorpio will be 1080 power. And seeing as nearly every Xbox exclusive makes it to the PC, I just think I might choose to spend the money on a 1080 instead.

What resolution is your PC?

There is very little performance lost using HDR and lag is dependant on your TV. HDR makes a very noticeable difference to both light and dark areas as well as colour definition.

I don't know if this is a design fault, but the vibrations from the spinning drive make a bit of a racket when the unit is on a hard surface. It's getting on my nerves. I didn't notice it yesterday, but just but BF1 in for the first time and it started doing it. Once the disc is removed, it's silent. Maybe the feet are not adequate.

Many games seem to have an amount of oddness with HDR mode where things appear overly dark. Perhaps its because my TV isn't set up properly, but with 4K HDR videos in the USB it is fine and noticeably better. I have had a good play with the settings also.

It is also really sad to simply not see standard improvements without the patch ( XB1 S for example has a slightly higher clock and all games benefit from this )

I have noticed small improvements in some non patched games. Just Cause 3 is far less stuttery but has no Pro patch. It seems the CPU might be present all of the time...

Are the feet rubber underneath the PS4 pro ? If not maybe some kinda or rubber dampening would help with vibrations:)

It's noisy when installing as it installs the complete disc. Once installed it spins the disc up to check when a game is first launched and then it's idle so quieter.
