PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

Th extra slower RAM is for non gaming apps and background processes. This frees up the extra DDR5 that is used for this on PS4 which can then be used for games...

Yes 0.5GB is extra for games and the other 0.5GB is for rendering the dynamic menu (operating system) in 4K.

I know that's a bit cheeky but you could always get one from argos or rainforest, play on it for 2 weeks and return it ;).

Loool, nah too cheeky for me lol. I won't be upgrading for years anyway so maybe I shouldn't see what I'm missing out on.

Hey guys I've seen a few pictures of PS4 Pros with melted casings. Worrying to say the least.

Just noticed this on HUKD

PS4 Pro 1TB 4K console (Black) + Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare + Dishonored 2 £366.49 @ Tesco Direct

You can get £64 cash from CEX from the games.

So PS4 Pro for £302.49 with 336 Clubcard points :D

Rainforest have played a blinder here. Sending me a new unit on the 21st. I can then drop off the current one to a local place for collection. If the new one is no better, I can just send one of them back and jobs a gooden.

Not holding my breath tbh, the build quality has me concerned.

Mines just arrived this minute and (without reading through the last few pages, which I will after) has there been many issues?

Apart from a hiccup when restoring (my backup drive turned itself off half way through....) my Pro has performed exactly like expected.

Ratchet & Clank looks jaw dropping with the 4k visuals (it already looked incredible).

Elder Scrolls: Online also looks fantastic in 4k (the 1080p "enhanced" mode looks too soft for my liking) and I had forgotten how engrossing it can be.

Neverwinter could really do with the extra CPU clock speed being enabled.

Isnt it allready on the disc to support the pro?

The Pro has given BF1 a new lease of life for me. Wasn't getting on well with it but now it's awesome. Loving the single shot rifles with no scopes.

Changed the stick to Xbox One sticks also as I hate the PS4 ones. Terrible.

Bit disappointed with Dishonored 2 being 30 fps. It's doesn't look that great especially when switching back to BF1 which looks stunning and runs at 60 fps. The stick acceleration is abysmal also.

My Pro arrived on the weekend. No 4K/HDR panel, but I bought it for PSVR. So far pretty good - games that have been patched look more crisp and loading times are better. Not night and day, but as much as I was expecting/hoping for. I'm expecting more from the Pro and PSVR with subsequent releases and it's there for when I finally upgrade to a 4k tv. TLOU looks very nice at 1080p from a short burst.

I agree, some of the textures on Dishonored 2 are horrendous gotta be fair.

BF1 runs smoother to on the pro.
