Depends what you like. If you want something like final fantasy 3-10 then you'll be sorely dissapointed if you enjoy hack and slash as opposed to battle sequences you might like it...

I'm not sold on the setting - with modern day cars and bland looking terrain/buildings. Hopefully the full game will add some interesting stuff.

As much as I loved FF7, I didn't like the direction it took the series. Everything went full on emo and angsty - looks at the guys in FF15! - and I preferred the fantasy settings of the originals. What we need is a spiritual successor of FF6! Still the pinnacle of the series.

Has anyone got a 2015 samsung UHD model? I have the Js9000, how does one know when HDR is in use? I did turn on UHD colour. I mean i think it is on because Rachet and Clank looks amazing but wondered if there is a way to be sure that it's on.

Backlight and contrast will automatically get cranked to max.

On my LG it comes up in the corner, "HDR".. you can just tell as well... its pretty obvious imo.

I got to open my pro today - it's my birthday - but the wrong power lead is in the box? It was all sealed up, and it's come with a figure of 8 connector which is wrong, anyone else had this?

Does anyone know if they have extended the range of the controller with the pro?

I want to put it in my av rack which is away from the tv last ps4 would drop connection. I could just test it out and see but they extended the range of the xbox one s controller so maybe someone knows before i pull it out and stick it in there (thats what she said)

Thats horrible QA from the manufacture there. Maybe just take it back and get another.

Its just a standard kettle lead anyway isn't it looking at mine?

When you change input display it will also say 'UHD' under the input name

No but you can bet your bottom dollar it won't be as good a solution as the Xbone's.

I should think there'll be a rolling two generation overlap for new releases, as we have today.

PS4 and PS4 Pro now, then

PS4 Pro and PS4 Pro++

Although as it's unlikely there'll be any major architecture changes going forwards, backwards compatibility should be pretty easy. Good chance the Pro++ will run PS4 games fine.

I don't know. Whereas Phil Spencer is trying to shift the Xbox to a platform which will play all past, present and future games like the iPhone/iPad, Mark Cerny says it's good to have console generations and hasn't ruled out architecture changes in the future.

The graphics won't improve on a 1080p you'll just get 60fps. If you're not interested in increasing fps then you'd be wasting your money.

Yep, .looked into this yesterday. 1080p games are much improved, if I had a 1080p TV I'd get the Pro.
