Screen going black on all games for 1/2 seconds intermittently. Anyone experienced this?

I have heard about but not had it on mine.

Try pulling the big multi connector out and plugging it back in when the screen displays the Quantum Dot logo...It fixed the issue I had with the inputs not being displayed..

Funnily enough it didn't do it once on Uncharted after resetting to default settings, it was COD MW and Rocket League it did it in.

The Pro is just an astounding console. Running on my 65" 4k tv it's blowing my mind. Got mates with high end PC's saying why have i bothered.

Anyone got a KS7500 picture setup guide to ensure I'm getting the best out of the TV?

Also I never used the HDMI cable that came included with the PS4, how do I know the one I'm using is 2.0?

As long as it's a high speed hdmi cable that's it. The 2.0 etc is used for the inputs on the TVs, it's all got all bit confusing with 1.4 2.0 2.0a high speed etc. I got a couple of Amazon basic cables, inexpensive and decent quality, do the same job as a £150 qed cable

Oh and I had the flickering issue with 3 cables. One included is working fine but couldn't use initially due to length.

I had the same. Would' be fine for 5+ hours then the flickering would start. Stopped with my 4.7m amazon basics cable and also with the supplied one.
Make sure to do any firmware updates on the to too but it's the cable.

Well there's no flickering, just the screen goes black for 1/2 seconds. It's literally been fine all day then occurred twice on FIFA just in a game. I haven't tried a new HDMI cable, I might get one anyway as all the ones I have are pretty old.

Yes that's what I mean. Mine would sometimes do it fast and constant or for 2-3 seconds black then back again.
It's not your pro or the tv for sure.

Are you passing it through an av receiver? I had this issue with the ps3 and ps4 when enabling extended colour range I think it was, while passing it through. if so try tinkering around with settings or connect direct to tv if haven't done already

My amazon basics cables got so old and started flickering with my Xbox one. Changed it and problem solved.

Edit. When I say flickering I mean, I'd lose the video signal for a second or two. And the screen would go black. Very annoying when playing forza etc. Has never happened to my PS4 though. I used a different cable for that.

I never bought the game when it first came out but got with the pro and been playing it a bit and yes it is nice and good to change on the fly , probably not one of the best patched for pro but certainly not the worst either .

There don't seem to be any decent deals for this at the moment. Can't be arsed to wait so just got it from John Lewis at full price (I don't want to buy from GAME).

The non-pro is soooo much cheaper. Feel a bit of a wally as I don't have a 4K tv

I stupidly sold mine thinking Id rather have a Xbox One, just 15mins of Xbox ownership made me realise I was an idiot and wanted a PS4 Pro back.

I paid £320 for my first one on release via Tesco. After patiently waitng until boxing day, no deals, they were all still £350. Best deal I could find was Game (ugh) which was a bundled copy of Infamous and. 2 month NowTV. I sold the game for £30 and the pass for £15, so all in all, not bad if you are willing to mess around selling on eBay.

As for the fate of the Xbox? I bought it from Microsoft store, in true MS fashion they apologised to me for being disatisifed and arranged to collect from me and refund in full. If only Sony had such good customer service.

Hate Sony, but like the console. Hoping Scorpio will be great and allow me to return to MS.

Yeah I saw that offer but CBA with that faff. lol who would buy that game for £30 when it can be had cheaper just about everywhere... also who would buy that two month pass for £15

Well done if so - I'd still rather not give my money to game though
