No. I think if the tv supports it, it is turned on by default. There is no toggle in the menu. (From what I could see anyway) I couldn't personally find a toggle for HDR.

My pro just arrived one day early from John Lewis. First thing to surprise me was a kettle lead input on the back, followed by rear USB ports yes!

Re-downloading a ton of games for the next 3hrs so I'll report back later. Took me a while to find the power button

The power and eject buttons are a bit crappy on the Pro I avoid using them as they seem fragile....

Indeed. They don't seem to be robust. I'll stock to powering the console via the controller. Is there a software eject for discs on the PS OS? I've not checked.

I think it's via options on the game then eject disc, been ages since I've been in that menu so it may not be.

So tempted to pick one up but I only have a little 27" BenQ monitor... Keep thinking if it's worth getting a 4K TV and everything for this just a little unsure at the moment.

Do you get the benefits of the pro online or does it "downgrade" the game so to speak? Just annoyed I missed the deals on the KS7000 and stuff and wonder if Easter will bring some good deals with the Pro and a TV or something.

Any recommendations for a TV? Needing something that isn't overly big as it's just for gaming and I'll be sitting about 2 meters away from it at most. Was looking at the Samsung UE43KS7500 Curved from JL as I wouldn't want to go any bigger and it's got that hdr 1000 that I'm sure I read someone mention in here that's the one to go for. But I dunno if a curved TV is any good for gaming?

Apparently if you sit close, a curved TV is good as it's more immersive. I read it somewhere.

I have that exact tv Kobi.

Fantastic piece of kit. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

It's a really worthy purchase. I sit about the same distance away as you'd be sitting and it's just right. The picture quality with the PS4 pro is absolutely stunning. Especially with games like tomb raider, ratchet and clank, uncharted 4 etc.

One is 43" curved, the other is 49" flat. I would take the extra 6" myself. More tea, vicar?
