PlayStation 4 Pro in-bound

What's everyone's views on the pro now its been out for a wee bit?(cant remember if I've already asked this or not). Is this the playstation to get or would you stick with the normal one(assuming I've got a 4k tv). It sort of seems patches are few and far between and when their is a patch it isn't making much difference? Or is that the point? Not much difference in terms of graphics but a higher resolution?

I upgraded from a day one standard PS4 and i feel the upgrade was completely worth it. It might not have the backlog of supported titles, but every game coming out should have it and games like BF1 run so much better. I'd upgrade again in an instant.

Going to put a different spin on this.

Currently 1TB slim models can be had for as low as £220. The Pro isn't worth the extra £100+ IMO and the list of supported titles is very small.

The supported titles are the new games, older backlog is only getting done if the company wants it to. It's worth it if you own a 4k TV or want better performance as some of the newer games are already giving options for better fps or better graphics.

Me being petty :)

No you are not. I noticed the difference when I got my Pro/4K HDR Sony TV and the clarity was great much sharper than the PS4/Xbox One. The only issue I seem to have is the auto HDR switching. I want HDR in games but when its on and you are using Netflix/Plex/YouTube it looks like its got mega gamma.

How will that work with competitive multiplayer? I thought the Pro wasn't allowed to have an FPS advantage.

Only the frames change not the time so even if you see 60fps or 30fps it's still over a 1 second period. The higher the fps it will be smoother but it makes little difference to the actual game mechanics....

If that makes any sense..... ? I know what I mean.... :-)
