Playstation Plus

lol the denial here never stops.

Who plays PS3 anymore?! Those games are on X1, so GWG is giving 4 games per month which are better than the 2 Plus offerings. And Gold is cheaper than Plus! Get a grip on reality!

What difference does it make? you are still getting games to play on the PS3 and Vita. It doesn't really matter that the PS4 doesn't play them, for the record I don't bother with the PS3 games usually, sometimes the vita ones for messing about with at work. I don't bother with the 360 games for X1 either, chances are I've played it years ago.

Different people have different opinions. In MY opinion, sometimes PS Plus has the better games, sometimes Gold does. It's great for me having both as usually there is something I'll grab to mess about with.

No need to get personal - Davey

Remember, there are lots of folk around the world who haven't moved on to PS4 yet so I'm sure there are PS3 people who are delighted with the offerings they get. :p

Of course, us PS3 PS+ owners had Deus Ex back in July 2012. We didn't have DIRT, but did have GRID 2 back in November 2013.

GWG isn't so much better, it's just 2-3 years behind.

I'm not sure what you think you're entitled to for your hugely generous £3andalittlebit a month? BLOPS 3? Battlefront? Fallout 4? If you can't find £40 of value in the last year of PS+, I honestly doubt you actually enjoy gaming.

I enjoy gaming perfectly fine thanks. But £40 for effectively nothing given not a single game thus far on PS+ has interested me, isn't value in my eyes.

I'd rather spend that £40 on Bloodborne, or another game that actually interests me.

PS+ would be on par with GWG if they offered up PS3 games that are BC. But as we know that won't be happening anytime soon, if at all. Obviously if you have a PS3 and a Vita, then that changes the value completely.

If quantity is all you care about, then PS+ also offered you MOH Warfighter and DA: Origins (PS3) AND Legends of War Patton and the puzzle platformer Nihilumbra (Vita)

I'm pretty sure Dirt Showdown and Deus Ex are old enough that they were free games on PS3 when the last gen was still the current gen.

Looking back at the list of xbox free games, I'm not sure what you feel like you're missing out on?

the way he goes on, its like he's missing out on playing PS games / having a PS. Maybe he asked santa for one for Christmas didn't get it one, so now he is back in the PS threads doing posts to say how crap anything with PS is compared to his xbox.

Fine, but that ultimately has more to do with your particular tastes than what they're offering. Yes, there's been a lot of 2D indie titles many of which look fairly similar (at least to me), but there's been a decent amount of good stuff in there too.

It all comes down to money really, and full-length retail games are far more costly to provide on such a service than smaller titles.

Absolutely, I appreciate that.

I've put more hours in to Velocity 2X and Rocket League than any AAA title on the PS4 so far. In that sense, it's been great value for me and continues to be so.

Only recently bought Grim Fandango on PC again but it's one of the best adventure games ever made and is a must for anyone that's never played it.

Why do people still respond to Pioneer2000? He's a total Xbox fanboy. Just ignore him.

While this months games are a bit rubbish, I still think PS+ is good value. It's had some fun games on it. Rocket League being a prime example.

Helldivers looks interesting. Guy at work here loves it so I will definitely give that a go. Just looked up NNG...hmm possibly not my cup of tea. I'll give it a go, though.

Helldivers, if that is right then that alone is enough for me. I was going order it with friend of mine at the end of the month and it looks like a good laugh.

Helldivers looks alright, first I've heard about it. Nom Nom Galaxy will be filed away with all the other 8-bit indie game stuff that we've had plenty of already.
