Playstation Plus

Just re-subscribed mainly so I could play Rocket League again but while I was renewing I picked up the Life Is Strange season pass for (I think) £14.99, or it might have been £11.99. Seems like a really nice game so far, heard plenty of good things about it as well.

I take my rant about Nom Nom Galaxy back. The advanced tutorial is indeed confusing - it gives you a load of robots/equipment you know nothing about. But when you start the campaign, it starts with the basic equipment and unlocks a new item/robot each planet and therefore you start to learn what everything does.

I played three planets in a row - slow going at first but I soon got the hang of it. I only used my 1-day PS+ extension to bag the game but now I'm hooked and will have to renew. :D

Kudos to PixelJunk for another gem.

Tried out Helldivers. Seemed like a decent game for the short time I played before the problems started. Crashed on the training stage then disconnected twice during the campaign for no reason. Internet fine. NAT type open. All ports on my firewall forwarded. No problems with other games. Not sure I can be bothered to try it again.

another....2d.....pixel art....platformer

Look I don't care how good or fun it is, there is no variation here. Give me a driving game, or a platformer (3d) or a puzzle game.

LOOK at what the xbox lot got this month, Sherlock Holmes, great game - AAA game.

Garbage

Galak Z actually looks really good too. I'm not a huge indie game fan but there really are some good ones if you sift through the crap. Super Meat Boy kept me entertained for weeks. I've got 106% now and still play it to try and get the no death trophies.

I still have Pez to play through too which looks great.
