Playstation Plus

Also in the update:

We also have an important service update to share. Starting next year on 8th March 2019, the PS Plus monthly games line-up will focus on PS4 titles and no longer include PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita titles.

This won’t affect any games you’ve already downloaded, or will download, prior to 8th March 2019. Those games will still be part of your PS Plus games library as long as you remain a member.

Your game saves and other benefits of PS Plus will also remain the same – the only change is that no new PS3 and PS Vita games will be added to the PS Plus monthly games line-up beyond 8th March 2019

I'm surprised they're keeping the PS3/Vita stuff going that long tbh

So they remove previous generation games (if you want to call the PS Vita previous) a few months after they increase the price.

".......PlayStation Plus...you pay more and we give you less...."

PS Now is a joke and not worth the money.

While MS are going full blown with keeping its last generation alive with BC on the Xbox One.

Its in 2019? How is it a few months after release?

I have no issue with this at all, the games they are giving away this months are leagues ahead of anything the xbox has to offer for their equivalent.

It will hopefully mean that the quality of the PS4 offerings improves rather than the fee being spread across three different platforms.

Sorry I read 2018. Still they need to up their game. Price incases are not welcomed by anyone if the quality of service hasn't improved.

The games are good this month but compared to other months since the service started? How long do you think they will keep this up for?

Xbox has an backlog of games on BC which you can play currently without an extra cost or can be part of your Live sub. The list seems to be increasing without having to go down the route of the buying HD remasters.

Their "free" BC games havent exactly been mind blowing, anything worth its salt has been remastered and charged.

Who knows how long they will keep it up for we can only wait and see but I can see Ps Plus having a few big months from now to be honest.

I've just finished Rime. Very nice game that tells a telling story. I really enjoyed it.

On this next month; well I've been very tempted to buy Ratchet and Clank for months but never got around to it, so very happy with that. I'm a little disappointed though by the news of leaving behind the PS3 and PS Vita. For someone like me who still owns a PS4, PS3 and PS Vita, I looked forward to each game they gave out on all consoles.

The Vita selection is always pretty poor every month, although I'm really enjoying Grand Kingdom on the Vita. They could instead give out PS Vita only games but they always end up giving us cross buys.

Crazy month to be honest. Bloodborne is incredible (well worth buying the DLC too) and Ratchet looks really fun even if it's a downgrade from the originals by most accounts. Even Mighty No. 9 is interesting even if it's just to see how bad it turned out.

The Vita and PS3 games do often suck but I'm still sad to see it go. I'm hoping for some heavy hitters during the last few months.

You can get by without it but like all of these games things get much easier if you learn how to time riposte. Though Bloodborne does try to be a little different in that it encourages and rewards you for being more aggressive. Don't get me wrong, it's still no walk in the park. So many great memories of this game. I got stuck on a few bosses but managed to get to the end which felt amazing.
