I let me subscription lapse in January and I've sat on my hands waiting for the usual (or not) deals to come along. Maybe Black Friday but I doubt they'll beat that price.

e: be careful with that CJS offer, it's an ACCOUNT with the 12 month membership, it is not a subscription you can add to your account!

So it is, thanks. I guess buying vouchers from shopto and using that is best then at about £87

My Extra expires on 02.12 so hovering over the buy button on some cheap PSN cards as the deal is pretty decent now but not sure we'll get any BF discounts on subs. If there aren't any, I'll just end up with wallet funds I could've spent on physical games (yeah, I still buy physical copies when possible unless a game fits certain criteria or it's heavily discounted on the Store).

Also, while I really appreciate TLoU1 FINALLY getting in, and some other games as well, I feel there'll be more and more titles leaving with something really worthwhile only being added once in a blue moon.

I quite like having Extra to fall back on and being able check some hidden gems/games I wouldn't have bought otherwise but finding it progressively harder to find reasons for resubbing with each passing year. You don't even get any points for it either as per the new ToS. The first year was great, so many unplayed games and the service itself was a lot cheaper.

Wondering if I'll bite the bullet yet again or just let it go.

I let go a while back and just have ps plus essential now - i have a big enough backlog anyway. I might add in extra closer to my expiration date so I can cheaply play the titles I fancy (plucky squire).

Yeah, I reckon once I finish Alan Wake and replay TLoU1 there won't be much keeping my attention as I've already completed most of the big-hitters, might drop to Essential myself but we'll see what December brings.
 
Was just looking earlier. £86 for £100 PSN credit from Shopto so if they do a Black friday deal on the Plus subs again that should cover a year. Think last year it was 82 quid for premium and i got 90 credit for 77.
