have they taken away the 30 trail of the store ??? cant find it and i really wanted to give it ago

I'm not so sure about the download speed

but crickey do games take a long time to install on the PS3 !! - I was just installing the LBP Karts game and it took a very very long time to install

Yeah, the download speeds on the PS3 are horrendous.

I can download a 2gb demo on Xbox Live faster than a 100mb file on the Playstation.

that said - I checked my logs for last night, I'd set a few instant games on PS Plus to download, plus had enabled auto-patch, and yesterday into overnight the PS had downloaded about 80gb of data - so its not that slow

!

I've found it to be fine over a cabled connection but its very poor over wireless.

The usual culprits of poor download speeds are Virgin cable and/or wi-fi.

That being said, here's hoping they do improve their infrastructure in time for the PS4 launch.

I can't remember - one of the "preparing" on the instant games crashed my PS3 and I had to reboot

another took a VERY long time but did sort itself out

can't remember which

do you have to install/download the 3d movies as well as the 2d ones ? it doesn't make it clear what you need/don't need

daft noob PS Plus query

if I was to think I may get a Vita in the future (for my son possibly) - is there a way to register the current free games so I'll be able to make use of them in the future ?

do I have to download them onto the PS3 ? not sure how it works - ta

got Uncharted 3, X-Com and Demon Souls to play with now - they're finally installed !

If the orange LED on the front of the console is flashing, it means it's busy so just leave it do its thing.

thanks mate but i managed to get a 30 day trial through facebook on the sony page but thanks for the offer,

i have download the Uncharted 3 game at which there were 3 files the game and then the 2d and 3d files after installing all 3 the game seems to have gone walkabout ie its gone am not sure if am missing something or installed it wrong but i could do with some advice

There were a few issues with the download.

You had to install the multiplayer bit, then when you launched that, you can then play the single player.

I had to download the game twice because of the issues.
