Has any members been testing there screens for Dead/Lazy Pixels!?
Been many cases of this?

Sony's response to Dead/Lazy Pixels

Mine has no dead pixels. I've heard of a couple of people with issues but not many, only one on here and he didn't notice it while actually playing so didn;t plan on returning it.
That line from Sony is normal form panel manufacturers, if you returned it to the store they'd replace it.
LOL
After a massive lecture about trying to save money, our shocking childcare costs (we have four kids), and her lack of free cash to spend in River Island she tells me she was thinking of buying me one for my birthday (about 5 weeks away)
looks like im getting uncharted now instead and NOTHING else lol
NICE! Don;t forget Motorstorm! Excellent for under a fiver and a nice change from Ucharted.
Noticed most brand new games on the US PSN are about £20-22 to buy, tempted to make myself a US PSN account just to get them cheaper
Yep, just be warned that you can only play those games on the account that you bought them on unlike on the PS3. You can change accounts and pay other stuff but you'll never be able to play your US DD games on your UK account.
So I can get Vita(wifi), uncharted, 16gb card for £215. Decent price?
What else is worth considering??
Very good price, Amazon's best offer in that range is Wifi + 8GB + Fifa for £232.
Motorstorm RC and Stuper Stardust can both be had for less than £15 in total and are both excellent games.
Full retail titles are going to be dependant on what you are interested in. Wipeout, Everybodys Golf, Rayman, Fifa etc are all great games.
I'll check them out
I managed to get a PS Vita with a 4gb card and lumines for £185. Used but in excellent condition.
Wow. Why would people sell something so fast instead of just returning it to the shop
Another chunk from the Motorstorm RC review on eurogamer
If you play MotorStorm RC on PS3, however, you can enjoy split-screen racing for four players. Which brings us to MotorStorm RC's most remarkable feature. This is a true cross-play game, with one price covering both Vita and PS3 versions, no segregation of players on the leaderboards, and your progress saved to the cloud and transferred seamlessly between the two clients. The game is completely identical on the two systems, save a few additional graphical effects on the PS3 version.
It's witchcraft, frankly. This first taste of genuine cross-platform play between home and handheld makes it seem an extremely compelling proposition, and it's very exciting (even though I'm always going to prefer playing RC on Vita - it just seems more at home there). It might not be a vision of the future - you can play Portal on your laptop, after all - but it's certainly a lot more like the present than anything else the console manufacturers are offering.
Just heard that Uncharted: Golden Abyss is top of the retail charts this week in the UK.
PlayStation Vita launch title Uncharted: Golden Abyss has claimed top spot in the new UK all-format charts.
Vita exclusive FIFA Football was second.
The two games accounted for 50 per cent of the total Vita software sold last week. There were 23 launch titles in total.
PlayStation Vita hardware sales data showed that 79 per cent of buyers chose the Vita's Wi-Fi version. Chart-Track does not publicly disclose sales figures.
EA shooter reboot Syndicate entered the chart in seventh, meanwhile, behind UFC3, FIFA 12, Rayman Origins and Mario & Sonic Olympics 2012.
Wii exclusive role-player The Last Story debuted in 15th place. The latest title from Final Fantasy creator Hironobu Sakaguchi was not stocked at GAME or Gamestation in the UK.
But new Sega tactical shooter Binary Domain fared less well, landing 35th.
Other Vita games managing a place in the top 40 included WipEout 2048 (11th place), Ridge Racer (28th) and Everybody's Golf (32nd). And multi-platform game Rayman Origins shot up from 36th to 5th after the release of its Vita version.
Obviously digital sales are not counted at all here.
Currently backing up my 8GB card to my PC and will then transfer back on to the 32GB.
