I got the travel kit from Asda was 15 quid (think its official Sony one - had car charger, screen protector, wrist strap, the bag, cloth, hard case for games) - has that toilet bag for the Vita which does the job for me fine. Same kit I think was 25 quid at Game.

I think asda have sold out now :(

Got my PS Vita 32GB card in from HK.
Luckily it didn't get picked up by customs so there were no handling charges or VAT/import tax to pay. It only cost me $77.45 + $0.99 air mail shipping (around £50), and bargain compared to what the UK/European PS Vita owners will have to pay when they official launch them here.

There seems to be a lack of online players for Marvel V Capcom 3 atm :( I tried playing some of the Heroes V Heralds online and got no players could be found.
I also tried some normal online fights, I think I managed to get about 2 fights online and that was it. Rest of the time it said no players could be found so I gave up after a while.

Shame I really do love MvC3 such a fun fighter tbh :) My fav team setup is Deadpool, Dante and Zero

I didn't have any problems using my mastercard.

Are you doing this from the Vita, the PS3 or online?

Shouldn't you just post your ID in here so it can be added to the Vita list?

Kreeee did a google docs sheet that we can put our names in and the games we have which is good. No idea if people are adding themselves to it.

At least that way we can add people who have similar games for multiplayer.

if anyone got their bundle from morrisons they are taking back the 4gb card, I ordered a 16gb from Coolshop so did not need the 4gb, I had used the 4gb but they were fine. £12.99 though, not £15 as I thought

Hi guys, got a couple of questions which I need your help with. I just went to buy a 3g version, but the store unfortunately only had a wi-fi version, so I bought that with the plan to trade up later in week when the 3g comes in stock.

However, couple of odd questions...

1) The customer service representative at the store told me that the memory card locks itself to a specific machine. Does this mean if I start playing my PS Vita wifi version tonight and then swap the memory card to the 3g version later in the week it will not work? Or was he talking nonsense.

2) If I start playing the free game (uncharted) which came with the vita from the disk tonight, then tomorrow trade the game in and buy the download version of the game, will it use the save files etc or be treated as a different instance of the game?

Thanks for you help

1) Not 100%, but what you certainly CAN do is hook your WiFi model up to your PC/MAC or PS3, use the content manager to backup (does one big file dump), then format the card and pop it in the 3G and then tell it to restore from your PC/MAC/PS3.

It MIGHT be true that you can't just put an already in use card into a different machine and access that content, I don't have enough Vitas to try it out.

You'll DEFINITELY be able to use that card in your new Vita however, just use the backup/restore I mentioned above.

2) Again not 100%, I THINK that games that save to the memory card will allow you to use either a cart or a download version but I'm not 100%. The few games that save direct to the cart are I THINK not possible to back up or copy.

Sorry I can;t be of more help.

DBT, how do you know all these things? I see you answering everyones questions every day :P
Just got my vita :D Cant wait to play it :D

Thanks for the info DBT.

As long as the memory card will still work in the later vita that's the main thing. Guy in store indicated that it would only ever work in 1 vita.

I'm hoping since I will only be using one PSN account the whole time, if i start uncharted tonight onto the card make saves, once I have deregistered the wifi vita and registered the 3g version it onto the account the card should just hop accross... worse case I lose saves.

All in all, it is a weird situation. All I wanted was a standalone 3G model without carts, but the local store I am trading my 3DS in for only had wifi version with carts in stock, so.....

  1. I bought wifi + uncharted for 230 quid.
  2. Later in the week when they get 3g version in I will trade in my wifi and uncharted for 245 quid at same store (yes, 245, it is not a typo), and get 3g version + uncharted (v2)
  3. Then I will trade in uncharted (v2) for PSN vouchers and buy downloadable version of uncharted (v3)

It does mean this week I will own 2 vitas and 3 versions of uncharted... which is why the weird questions :p
