Anything from third partys yet, with refrence to apps and the like?

An Iplayer app etc would be pretty decent for this. Also a new web browser, stock one is crap.

Modnation is a cripple of what it should have been. Go for Wipeout.

And PS+ has already had one small bonus for Vita owners. The Motorstorm DLC was 50% off.

Over the year they give out some free bits and some discounted bits. It all depends really how much you are interetsed in those games. In the first year I got Burnout Paradise for example free. It's mine all the time I have a PS+ account.

The nice this is that you don't NEED a PS+ account to get everything out of your PS3. That's where it and XBL differ most.

Hence why I don't have one yet. I want one that's at least 10000mah and can charge all my devices (preferably more than one at a time) at 2.1A :(

There are loads of high capacity ones out there and there are a few that can charge at 1.8A (that would do fine for me) but so few that are a mix of the 2.

The vita charge pack is only 3000mah, which is pretty crap for the huge price.

Bridging the D+ and D- connections with USB tells the device drawing power from the port that it is a dedicated charging port and that it can draw at a higher amperage than standard USB without damage. Putting this bridge in the cable means that devices will try to draw more power than the port supports, which is a problem for a lot of PC USB ports and a range of USB chargers. Not all USB ports have the 0.5A safety restriction in place as no device that supports USB was meant to draw more than that.

I have PS+ and find it has been worth it (so far!). The only way to get it cheaper than the £40 on PS Store is to get cheap PSN codes to pay for it. They normally have some sort of 14-15 months for the price of 12 as well adds a bit more value for money. Also sometimes you get a free full PS3 game as part of the initial subscription (It has been LBP and some other titles in the past)

The only problem a new subscriber has (imo) is that the offers that are for previous months are not available to you any more. In effect you have 30 days to download everything on that month's list then the items change. I don't think they repeat offers. A lot of the games I get from it I only play for a month or so. Even if I had bought them outright they would have sat unplayed after a short time, so I don't mind the fact that I am (in effect) renting them.

As of now they have clearly stated that Vita content is not going to be part of the PS+ offering. The Motorstorm DLC is cheaper only because it is as much a PS3 title as it is a Vita title. PS1 games are another exception, they may be cheap to PS+ subscribers and they will soon (allegedly) work natively on the Vita, but it is still classed as PS3/PSP content, hence the discount.

In short, unless you own a PS3 as well, I would not buy PS+ until they officially include Vita content in the freebie list.

It is very pretty that. If there was a alarm clock app, I would buy it in a heartbeat, and use it as a bedside clock when I'm not gaming.

It looks great, and a reasonable price too.

WOW, I mean come on how good is this game. I thought we was blessed with Uncharted but Wipeout is even better. :D

The more time i spent on the Vita the more i love it :D

Ordered one of those funky stands.

Kreeeee- for the love of all things.... Im getting my bum handed to me in UMvC online, its like, combo launcher combo in air, switch character, continue combo knockdown to floor, switch bla bla bla rinse and repeat.

Man... Im sure this is pretty novice stuff but how do you defend against this? I saw "Advance Guard" pulled off sometimes, but I had no clue how it was pulled off lol.
