***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

Finally got round to finishing Gravity Rush today.

If i'd known i was only two chapters away i would've have forced myself to finish it earlier (21 chapters btw)

Bit of an anti-climactic finish but still enjoyed the game overall, definitely leads itself to a sequel which i will be getting.

Working my way through Sounds and Shapes, which after a while is getting a little disapointing. The music is the biggest attraction for me, and after the first couple of albums it just sounds pretty lame imo.

Also a little disapointed with LBP if i'm honest too, might trade it in and get Madden 13.

Wouldn't it have been cheaper just to buy a bigger card or two?

I hope they do more with remote play.

That looks very good and might be the title that finally sways me off my PSP3000 and onto the Vita. Only for the right price mind, walking past the likes of Gamestation asking £180 for a preowned Vita gives me a right good laugh, especially as they have a pile of them that they're not shifting.

Please for the love of god can we not have the stupid "buying the city" sidequests? I just want something like AC1/2 where I can be all stabby stabby.

AC3: Liberation is looking very good from the screenshots and impressions I've read so far. Looking forward to that one.

Currently at 88% complete on Uncharted, the boss fights on Crushing were a pain in the backside but I got there eventually. Just need to do 3 of the weapon trophies and the bounty ones and I'm there.

Also really got into TOM Blitz in the last week. Frustratingly addictive little game.

This is from Kerrak on the NeoGAF forum

After playing a while last night, it looks like the single player campaign is a fully fledged "big console" campaign. Main story, side missions, collectables, weapons, inventory, pickpocketing, etc... Plenty of things to do.

The world feels alive and populated. Sometimes you'll see more than 20 civilians on screen at once, in other zones it will feel more deserted: it just feels right. It's more than people walking directionless. There are plenty of animations like dogs scratching their backs, leaves falling, dust, people working in the street. There is plenty of attention to detail.

Parcouring has many different animations, zones where you can climb, vistas, etc... I like the jump button. It is not needed when parcouring, it is used to enlarge the movements Aveline can do.
Multiplayer still not active, so i can't tell you. There are near goodies.

There are some framerate dips. For the most sensitive of you, this could be a problem. It's not for me.

The only negative for me, is the compression of audio. The OS is excellent, voices, sounds and ambiental noises are well designed, but with compression they lack punch and the whole package feels less epic. Of course, this will mostly be appreciated if you play with headphones.

Definitely a must buy.

Also the US Blog just announced that Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault is out on November 27th for $19.99 and it is another Cross Buy title so when you buy the PS3 game at retail you get a digital Vita version too. Should be out at a similar time in the EU too.

Anyone got street fighter X tekken?
I downloaded it this morning and I'm chuffed with it.

Not as brilliant as arcade edition but gives me a fix of street fighter when on trains and stuff!
