***** PlayStation Vita Official Thread *****

You UK people are lucky where the pricing on games in stores is actally good :p Here in Norway games are really expensive and you would only see a price drop on games they have a lot of, and only after its "old". Vita games have not dropped in price at all since launch.

But being able to download games you own would be a nice feature.

I recently picked up a copy of LBP Vita from Zavvi for £19.99 bargain price IMO :)

Also my 32GB memory card has finally arrived managed to get that for about £41 so happy!

Eagle One: Harrier Attack. Awesome old PS1 game. Loved it. And all the initial PS classics lists had it as a game compatible on the Vita. Can't for the life of me find it on the PS Store. Anyone found this gem?

I have bought a vital for my son for Xmas.

any recommenadtion for games for a 9 year old who loves monetary, borderlands 2 and planetside 2.

Does anyone know how much space Little Big Planet uses? Both from the PSN store and store bought.

Want to get it in store but don't have a car today, and it's cheaper for me on the PSN store.
I just don't want to fill my card up, but I'm terrible when it comes to waiting for things to buy :(

Looks like the download is about 1.6GB though I think I'm a bit late now sorry! :D

I agree with the pricing on the store too, most stuff is fairly priced, nobody is going to pay £49.99 for a new game but older games are a decent price. I just bought the first Mass Effect for £12! :)

Can't go wrong with Little Big Planet Vita which in my opinion is the best version on Playstation consoles. There are a few average shooters on the Vita but you won't get me recommending them for a 9yr old.

Bought one of these it arrived yesterday, just waiting on my memory card now. Already got PS All-Stars and Mortal Kombat is going to be free on the 21st from what I hear, any other recommendations? I like fighting, fps, and action/adventure. Don't mind racing either but there needs to be a twist on it like being able to attack other drivers/racers and have them attack you..is Wipeout 2048 anywhere near as good as HD Fury?

Wasn't too convinced about Big Sky Infinity....DL'd but not sure if it is a keeper or not yet - narrator bloke's voice was beginning to jar....!

Really interested in getting a vita wifi. Ive just purchased psn+ for 90 days so i got uncharted and other stuff free. Money is a bit tight at the moment so all i want is the console wifi model and a 32gb card, wheres the best deal?

Can't see anywhere selling them as a bundle (The price of the 32GB card is still very high so I suspect they can't sell a bundle at an attractive enough price point to make it worth their while).

Sent you a trust e-mail with more info.

Got your trust rp2000.

Does the playstation store work fully with the vita. So can i just start dling uncharted from the vita instead of doing it through the ps3?

Yes, but I think a few PS1 games need to be downloaded on PS3 and transferred to Vita via USB. I think Vita contents has to be DL from Vita and PS3 from PS3. Stuff that works on both like PS1 and Minis can be done on PS3 or VITA or something like that (and then transferred via USB to VITA).

Finally caved, picked up a Vita with 16GB card as well as Rayman Origins for $250NZ (140 quid in real money ;)) so pretty pleased. Signed up for PSN+ and the free games are a staggeringly good deal especially as I have a PS3 already that I haven't used much lately.

I'm not sure the Vita will be around forever but there are enough decent games and the offer of the freebies on PSN+ means I am confident I'll get my money's worth. Just need to track down Persona 4 Golden at some point but I might give it a month or two as I have quite a few other games to work through first :)
